Train with d revis this off season. It would immediately change the perception of him. He has a similar build. Revis was 5’11 & change. Joseph is 6’ with more speed. He should work with him all off season. Pay him if you have to to train you. He’s the most taker we Corbett in the team when it comes to size , speed and hands.

So training with Revis is going to make him not an imbecile? Talent isn’t his issue, it’s maturity and lack of focus. Sleeping next to Deion, or training with Revis or whatever isn’t going to fix that!

He's just not very good nothing to really hate on team just needs to move on. I understand the hate based on his idiotic behavior tho
I mean aside from the whole murder thing he’s been quiet lol. Either way I don’t think he can play. Not his fault. They thought he could. Should’ve stayed away or took a shot later in the draft.

Yea I mean the real hate should be directed at the people who reached and drafted him, its not his fault he wasn't mentally prepared for the NFL the signs were there

Yeah I agree. These reaches are all good until they bust. If he hits I don’t care where they drafted him….he flops and you have to question why take him so high.

A couple of options:
1) Give KJ snaps so he can develop, 1 game starting isn't development.

2) Let Joseph play STs till his contract is up, at least you have a good gunner.

3) Cut bait put a for sale sign on the former 2nd round pick and see if anyone bites for a 5th...while your at it put Gally on the block too see what you can get.

Dude is not even in Revis's area code. B/c dude is about the same height but "faster" means nothing. Players are more than the sum of their measurables. Its a shame b/c Joseph had every opportunity to step up this year and show his talent. He was mostly terrible.
So true
Measurables mean very little. Brains, instincts, heart and desire are hard to measure but the difference between avg guy and great guy has nothing to do with height, weight or speed
It has everything to do with those 3 things in most cases

Honestly I am not sure he can. He would have to rededicate himself to football and live in the film room and next to his coaches. He probably also needs a sport's psychologist as well. He has the physical talent but really immature.

Measurables mean a lot, but there is a lot more to it than that. Many players fail due simply to not having the measurables.

It's a stretch to say that Joseph is faster than Revis.

Revis
4.38 forty
6.56 3-cone

Joseph
4.35 forty
7.21 3-cone

They are the exact same height.
5114 (5'11-1/2")

If measurables didn't matter, then I would be playing in the NFL...

They matter some but lots of guys come out and have good size or speed but can’t play football. If size made you a player then every giant man would be in the nfl. If speed made you a player every track star would be in the nfl
Measurables have their place but they are way over used to draft guys who don’t make it

Some do but some who don’t have them make it and thrive
Lots of things go into scouting players but measuables are over used
The problem is the things that also matter are harder to judge. Like being a smart player or putting in the work to become a player
Taco and hill had good size and speed at their positions

Revis ran 4.5 flat at the combine. The combine is official.
