I actually have a beef with Parsons

Now that I read this, it's clear as day that Micah Parsons needs to resign and then turn himself in to get expelled, expunged, decommissioned, condemned, and finally deported to Philadelphia. But since I'm a greedy Cowboys fan, I'd rather see a Herschel Walker style trade.

To the chase, want a top notched linebacker on the par of Lawrence Taylor, or a defensive end that starts to lose some of his flash in 5-6 seasons?

Go ahead...lead us!

Easy fella'!

Stats are meaningless most of the time.

I’ve seen Dak play like trash and post good stats.

I’ve seen Micah play like a phenom and not get a single sack.
Not exactly, they, stats, can become directional indicators allowing causes to be clarrified with changes, usually.

Yeah, Micah is one of the few guys in the NFL that ALWAYS gives his all on every play. He plays his *** off every snap of the ball.

Everyone should know that unless IQ’s have dropped sharply of late.
Every last person on this board is proud that he is a Cowboys fan...he can still improve or adjusted in mission on the carpet.

This. It pretty much sums it up.

Micah is phenomenal and he changes every game he plays in, regardless if he is getting blocked or not.

The resources that it takes for an offense to actually block Micah, opens things up for the other 10 guys on the field.

He impacts the game start to finish.
Straight up, the question is not if he has dominant abilities...is he yet the dominant piece in between the defensive line and secondary that leads the entire unit? No, he isn't yet.

Make him a linebacker or a defensive end, then, if one is not going to help him become the very best at the positional mission he is shouldered with. I'm not sticking my own head in the sand.

I was an NCO for 19 years...and that is tough. I want Parsons tough as well...so that he can be all that he can be!

Umm I'm sure he cares..... Do you even watch him play and interact with our Defense....?
If that even had a brain included, it would instead be taken out and played with...

I have a question. When’s the last time you actually watched full games of the players you listed, playing?

I ask because it’s been decades. Like I’m sure they had plays they got blocked or washed out of a play or whatever.

You just don’t remember it because you watched them play literally decades ago and the only thing you’ve seen since are highlights.

Lawrence Taylor partied with opposing players the night before games

Follow topic reasons non-challant, as if your proposal even applies to applications of base play...YOU now implying that what YOU categorize as just a play of film denies the time transcending element of the Hall of Fame. Never mind, just carry own problem hunter. You of a new world order in the NFL now. Penalties, defeat, rewind, errors....wow, you are hot on something - failure!

The NFL had a special on all of them two days ago.....smart guy.

He's too much new school and too much of a 'sweet' player to take full control of the Cowboys defense.

Old School linebackers: Lawrence Taylor, Harry Carson, Willie Lanier, Mike Singletary, Ray Lewis...they are not specialized besides effectively being immediately aggressive. They were in the play before they were blocked. Parsons gets blocked a lot, and isn't nearly as dominating as old school linebacker was for their team. That was five players who met every inch of the requirement. He better commit more within himself and less into talking about it. Do it!
This sounds way too personal, maybe you can settle your beef in the ring with Parsons.

I love how we try to diminish our top players contributions. Parsons is an elite player, throw your beef out the window.

Get the story straight with at least a tad of truth...no you merely shake a bush outside of a school window and then attempt to strut like a peafowl but don't have the plummage to pull it off. Sorry Charlie, stay off the street or at least away from a lock up. THEY use cuffs and leg irons and don't say Mother May I, son.

Maybe even a troll can understand that he can STILL become a better linebacker, even if you eat donuts...

There's no better player in the NFL than one that is constantly hungry to make MORE plays.
He's generational and was out of the box. His leadership is walking the walk. He's the first in, last out.
That being said, He's improved as time went on, what is there to suggest he'll tapper off? He's going to be making plays wherever he is. My guess it will be more of the same, moving all over.

Pretty good post as well as observation. Time fills as well as skills are expanded and teams grow.

No, you need to get realistic. No body is going to talk down about a very young Pro Bowler. You looking for a medal or a chest to pin it on.

The reason for the OP was to point out that much more sacrifice and pain to reach the levels of that group of Hall of Fame LINEBACKERS.

Take that ring tapping point of reference and sit your butt down...
Yeah. 2 first team all pros and 26.5 sacks his first 2 years.

He’s already on pace for a HOF career. He needs to do more though? His first season was after sitting out his final year in college too. Lol.

Won DROY playing mostly linebacker as well.

But sure. I’m the one who needs to sit down.
