Stats are an indicator of production and production leads to scoring. You can’t disregard stats. Stats are a barometer for how successful your offense and defense is. They’re a barometer for how well your QB is performing.

I am glad the Cowboys won-- more on the later.

As far as Lamb, Dak, Parsons, etc.... personal stats ~ DO NOT CARE !

Personal players stats are for their next contract, being patted on the back and praised with the media.
Until this franchise can get to a damn NFC Conference game THIS CENTURY, will continue to say it.
Romo, Dez, Ware, Witten, Owens, etc.... ALL had stats but the stats NONE of them had was ZERO NFC Conference game played. Hell, Ware had to leave Dallas to get his chance and Parsons will eventually leave Dallas for the same reasons.

Great the team WON ! But how many years have this same scenario been sold ( FOOLS GOLD/Pyrite) to Cowboys fans?
Answer: 27 years

Get to a NFC Conference game and break this trend. Until then, do not care.
Now, go beat Carolina
We are seeing some chemistry finally come together, I am optimistic.
Waiting for Terrance Steele stats to be revealed.

Stats are more for offseason discussions, and also an in season indicator. However, stats aren't a substitution for Team/Playoff success.

I enjoy beating down a bad team as much as the next fan but it doesn’t change the overall narrative. For anyone to declare progress , we have to see at least an NFC title game. I don’t care if we have 11 pro bowlers. We had that in 2007, 2014, 2016……… added up to quick playoff exits.

I feel we risked a lot leaving them in as long as we did just to pad the stats. This isn't college football, stats mean nothing. Playoff wins and championships are the true measuring stick.

why does the NFC title game matter its still short of the show if thats your goal? youll feel better about being the second to last loser? I honestly just enjoy it for what it is. Entertainment but i realize not everyone thinks like me.

prepare yourself because right now I have dallas as the 2nd maybe 3rd best team in NFC so they will need some luck because the niners and Eagles both are contsructed better maybe even the Lions but i havent had a chance to see them. Any given sunday this dallas team is good but they may have to play great to get past the niners. i think they match up better against the eagles

My goal is progress. We haven’t seen an NFC title game since the 1995 season. So, that’s the lowest bar to declare the team has made any progress. Obviously , there are higher rings on the progress ladder.

I wish Dak could play the Gnats every game for the rest of the season. It would be great for his stats that some love so much. Some enjoy the stats and the regular season success, but I'm like you - if you can't get the job done in the playoffs you are a loser and all the stats ended up meaning nothing.

Since you mention Parsons, I wonder what he is truly trying to get, a big pay day or a championship. Guess only time will tell.
The only stat anyone cares about is wins and losses so quit trying to put out some lies just to make you feel better about your constant spew of hate.

Exactly..... if you don't care, then go on about your day and shut the **** up!! Just that simple. This is just another crybaby post by a weak one after a victory.

The same clown will be crying again after our next defeat. You can't do anything to make these lil idiots happy.
I knew there would be at least one of the fanboys explaining and defending their over the top props of stats on a below average team. Just like always Dak bears the teams everyone else would beat but crmbles against the good teams. They haven’t beat a single team with a winning record this season. The jets are 4-5, giants 2-8, patriots 2-8, chargers 4-5, rams 3-6 just so everyone has the right perspective.

Let’s talk stats in the two teams that we’ve lost to that had winning records San Fran and the eagles there wasn’t much to get excited about. San Fran that QBR was 42.9 and he managed a 153 yards in the air. The eagles game was a loss that could have been a win with any competent QB that doesn’t waist clock and take sacks with game on the line. Let’s not pick stars that are inflated by lesser teams that everyone else is beating the brakes off as well

You must be a real hater if you don’t think Dak played a great game against Philly. Blame the sacks he took on the OL, primarily Terrence Steele. It would have been tough for any QB to play better than Dak did in that game. Anyone who watched the game and has a clue about football knows why we lost. Dak’s performance was the only reason we had a chance to win in the end.
