I probably put more time into the draft process....year after year... than that whole room of clowns in Dallas....And the funny thing is....I got 27 years of proof to prove it. Just look @ their results. All they care about is getting into your wallet...and keep you interested. But go ahead....defend the ineptitude.....because it makes you look stupid in the end.
Well, actually, I don't. (Defend ineptitude nor look stupid, that is.)

I mean, I have no reason to disbelieve that you think you put more time into the draft than anyone else.

I do have reason to believe, however, that you're not all that committed to balanced reasoning in your approach.

I do have reason to believe, additionally, that you wouldn't have the intellectual humility to even know if/when your decisions would be better than those made by "clowns"... ie, people who actually are so well-regarded for their resume's that people want to pay them to do that work.

But never mind me. You seem to need this self-indulgence for the sake of your mental health. I'll leave you alone to revel in your own genius.

I've had my share of disappointments with the Cowboys from time to time as most of us probably have, but if I saw absolutely everything about the Cowboys as horrible, hopeless and worthless as you do, I'd totally cease to be a Cowboys fan. Is extreme negativity just a pastime for you, or do you truly see the Cowboys as being as horrible as you make them sound?
Just curious.
27 years of Jerry bufoonery doesn't make me wrong....

Just amazing how many people still defend this garbage.....

Sure we may have drafted some good players.

This draft was a total nuts and bolts draft. It’s cool we improved on a already elite NFL defense.

But…

Dallas biggest weakness was offensive playmakers and all we really did was add Brandon Cooks.

The guard spot is still weak.

I think if they go with their best 5 then that means Tyler back at guard and Tyron back at left Tackle.

I just don’t see a team as it’s currently constructed that’s competing with the Eagles for the division or the conference.

My hope is they have something up there sleeve.

It’s hard for me to believe that Ronald Jones is really going to be their #2 back.

The Cowboys are also really giving Tolbert an opportunity to shine with not giving him any real competition.

My hope is that Dallas will somehow pull off a miracle trade and get Derrick Henry in here.

The Titans are not a contender and Henry kinda changes everything for us. Immediately makes us a legit Super Bowl contender.
For a team that’s so close they sure don’t act like one… just goin through to motions

I cringe at the thought this front office sat on their collective ***** for 3 days... thinking they were sitting on a franchise saving 6th rounder.

That thought ought to scare the crap out of anybody.... :banghead:
yeah they didnt do that. They are just inept except for Will McClay doing enuff to save their arses.

YT is soiled with Dallas fan channels that crank out vids defending Jerry and the last 27 years. You know who they are as do I. They are mostly propaganda.

To a 12 win team we added Gilmore and Cooks. Both huge areas of need. We improved on an elite defense and drafted a more explosive Schultz (3rd best TE athlete of the class).

At the end of the day only 1 team wins a championship. We are in the gorup of teams that can credibly say they are contending for one.

You guys will cry about anything.

The Cowboys make a lot of smart decisions and they smart decision themselves to the same place every year.

I wish they’d take a risk for once.

they still have 0 speed on O, there best rb is coming off a broke leg
This is hilariously not true. We do not have the fastest set of WRs in the league but Lamb is not slow. Cooks legitimately has been one of the best deep ball players in the league for years. Pollard literally was a big play waiting to happen.

HOw does this add up to "0 speed."

LIke these are just joke posts I assume at this point.

Naw, he's the same guy who pimped Kellen Moore as our next franchise qb. He's completely full of crap. Intellectual humility doesn't exist with this one.

I agree. I mean................they want to run the ball and didnt even take a back? Love Pollard, but you need a stable of back.

IM really confused. I thought these guys were starting get it right. They are complete morons.
A) we did take a back
B) RB is the least important position for being able to establish the run

We are better now than last year at WR, CB, DT... maybe some other spots too. The Eagles got worse at Oline, LBer, Safety... Carter won't replace Hargraves production this year, and they lost both coordinators. Eagles are worse today than they were last year. And Cowboys are better

The right risk, yes. But risks like Randy Gregory. Jalen Smith, and pac Man Jones etc etc are just dumb risks. Taking a risk just for the sake of taking a risk ends badly. But guys like Ron Leary and La'ell collins were smart risks. We need more of that. I think the Richard pick and the Deuce pick were smart calculated risks. Is it enuff? We shall see. Deuce gives us some juice. Richard might be a Gem at Guard/tackle. I dont mind that kind of risk..a late pick with low risk high reward.

Ok, I hear you................So what did we do on the Oline to help further that?
What we did to help the team was not reach for an OLineman for the sake of it. I suspect they'll add veteren depth.

As is, the starting 5 lineman make up a top 5 unit.

Wow, sounds amazing. That Oline wasnt good enough last year. So when Tyron goes down, who you got?
