His wife came out and said it about a month or so ago in a new book or something.

I'm serious, .. when I read that, I physically felt something happen in my heart. I had an audile response like, .. "oooh!" It was not a word, but just a moan or something.

I have endured enough. This is not fun. Sticking with Dallas through this mess is not being loyal, it's being dumb.

All that is left of the team that I fell in love with is gone, except for the 'blue star'.

That's how I feel reading it now. Just wow. The man coached the Cowboys for 29 years and died a Giants fan (one of our division rivals!!!) Like I said, I understand it...what with Jerry firing him and the fact that he played for the Giants....but still. Wow.

You can still be loyal, you just don't have to take the abuse every time. I went to bed when Dallas went 3 and out after Harris' great return. I did not quit on my team, I just said enough was enough for one game.

I'm an avid reader. I am definitely going to get that book. Supposedly Jerry banned Tom Jr. From games although I don't know how legally he could do that.

The Landry's are class with a capital C. If he switched he was pushed into it by that alcoholic lowlife Jerry.

The fans should do what the skins fans did on Sunday. A few of those might grab his attention

I am a fan but I agree. It's ticket sells that will get Jones. I do think Jones has been doing all he can figure out but......

You can still be loyal,

OK, .. loyal to what?

I will never root for any other team, .. that is as loyal as I will go. I will not cheer for the mess that is the current Dallas Cowboys.

Jones does not realize that the foundation is built on sand, ... ever-shifting sand.

Yes I believe so. This would be Texas Stadium Tom Jr. was told not to come to. I am not sure of all this though. Someone will correct me if I am wrong.

I don't know about banning, but it is fact that he took away his season tickets and suite.

I don't think it was specifically Tom Jr., it did include others as well.

But he could have made an exception for Tom Jr.

Don't believe what remark? If you're talking about Tom dying a Giants fan take it up with Mrs. Landry. If you're talking about Jerry being an alcoholic lowlife that's about the nicest things I can think of to describe him.

Ms. Landry is a wonderful lady as was her husband. I haven't read the book so I can't comment from that angle. Jerry isn't a mean spirited guy and that's my opinion.
I'm tried of his results but I'm not going to say things about him that seem unlike him.

I do think [if it happened] that Jones should have made Tom Jr. an acceptation.

You finished watching the seahawks and bears games last year? And the saints game this year? I refuse to watch crap like that.

Yep. Don't know exactly why I put my self through games like that, but I did. Something happened last night though that made me just turn it off. The wife looked at me like she saw a ghost when I came bed and she asked what the score was and I said, "I don't really know, the games not over yet".
