The Cowboys aren't winning with backups because they're last (by a wide margin) in turnover differential.

We are one year removed from success because guess why? They had a legit running game and one of the best QBs in the league and got on a roll. We won in spite of this staff not because of them. One player goes down and this staff lets this team lose 7 in a row when all we really needed to do was win 1 or 2 and be in control. They have been exposed. If it wasn't for Romo, Garrett would be a 4 win coach all these years. Heck, close to 0-16 this year. Losing Callahan was a bigger deal than many of us thought as well.

The fact is, we can't win with this staff. We haven't and we won't. We have a DC who is still living in 2002 thinking he is playing with the dominant Bucs personnel and a coach who draws up the most mickey mouse offensive scheme you can think of.

We can win with this staff as is. Call me the eternal optimist but don't forget this same staff (sans Callahan) is one year removed from almost going to a SB. I know Callahan was a big lose to this OL, but an offensive Asst this offseason can be found to assist with play-calling and OL...what's Sporano doing these days?? Draft D heavy (S, DT, LB) and RB early....QB in mid to later rounds....2 years left with Tony and let's roll!

CBs next year - Mo, Byron, and O Scan

S - Draft (maybe Jalen Ramsey?) Church

LBers - Lee, McClain or draft, Hitchens, Wilson or draft

DL - DE Lawrence/Gregory DTs Irving and Crawford other DE maybe draft Bosa??

OL is the same except replace Free with Chaz

WRs - Dez, Beasley, Williams and draft

RBs - McFadden again with Dunbar back and draft a high RB in 2nd or 3rd...

If....a BIG IG....healthy next year, that team is 12-4 or 13-3 and wins a SB next season...

Oh there will be bloodshed... Garrett probably will not be one of them... To me it doesn't matter much either way, but I can see the merit of not totally changing both offensive and defensive systems.

When was the Super Bowl Parade under Garrett's reign of Greatness? No Super Bowls means Failure. We did not win anything unless a NFC East Crown in 2014 counts as your Super Bowl. Go ask Elway in Denver why Fox was fired. The Broncos have a higher standard of excellence then the TOP Sports Franchise in the entire world.
