this is not going to be a fun week dealing with difficult tenants and difficult workers.
the ones who were working on it were so bad that i had to bring a worker from sacramento to the reno work

If he's using multiple coats, I wouldn't be too upset, I suppose. It depends. 16 hours is a bit long. I can do a bedroom, crown molding, 3 coats of paint in about 8 while not going too hard.

1 coat mostly.
2 in trouble spots.
and he just done telling me 10 minutes before that he painted a bedroom, kitchen and living room in 1.5 days...

when i told him that 2 days is too much and should be 1 day, he told me that get someone else to do the work.
i think he thinks that i would not make the drive.
i told him it is cheaper for me to pay for my hotel room to oversee the work.

actually, it has been 10 months since i was last there.
so it is time for me to go check on things before trying to liquidity a property...

If you "rent a date" while away on your stay in Reno MR.Chow,,, while perusing the various attributes of available females you'll more than likely cast your gaze upon a posted sign simply stating " good service isn't cheap and cheap service isn't good",,,
So,while your painting expert has got you bent over the proverbial paint barrel, you might as well stay at the mustang ranch and not leave till every gals named is forever seared into your fond memories:lmao:
Besides what are you paying this guy an hour?/
Is it textured walls/ popcorn sprayed ceilings with water damage?,, I've an airless paint casing-liner you could borrow.

naughty melon fantasies :lmao:

if u want to be naughty, asia has a lot better places to be naughty.
naughty past-times are expected and 'standard' in asia after work, so the choice and quality are far far better.
in US, women are king, whereas in asia, men are king.

actually my dinners are accounted for tuesday and wednesday already due to the business.
i may well leave on thursday.

my paint 'expert' is no longer working for me.
i am bringing a guy in that i trust from sacramento.
frankly i have painted myself so the painting is not a big deal.

the goal is actually to glue the plastic tiles and do some other necessary stuff in the same 2 days.
also i really need to be there to check on things and chat with my real estate agent.
so this just gave me the immediate drive to go up there and deal with everything together.

perhaps u r an expert and my disclaimer is that i have never been to mustang ranch
however i was told girls are VERY expensive and have gone WAY down hill.

i am not kidding.
if u want to be naughty, my advice is to be naughty in asia.
men are expected to be naughty due to asian culture
so there is far more choice in asia for naughty stuff.
it is much better to be a guy in asia, where men (not women) are king.

i think u r kidding, but it is going over my head like some of your oil-field speak.
if u r not kidding, this is going to be a boring few days of a cheap remodel.
this is not high rent district - just need to slap it together and be done with it.

i will make the best of it even with a bad start waking up really early...
my house is in the east bay portion of SF that can get very hot in summers (>100F).
the house is also of an unusual design with the bottom floor having really high ceilings very high ceilings (20ft -25ft) .
i like the way it looks, but there can be a lot of trapped warm air under the high ceilings.
after days of hot weather and no one inside, the house got really hot inside.
it took a long time for the AC to cool the place down and the residual heat still woke me up early

yes, i know.
californians r spoiled by the weather :)

u can keep manning the post, but just wanted to get an opinion of how others view the situation.

u said mustang ranch, i am just going apples-to-apples.
u get much better value in asia - though there is the transportation costs over there as well as the time.

if u r talking girlfriend, then the female-male ratio does not apply to u or me.
which is great for someone like me who is now once again single and like the food in Macau (gambling capital of china if u r not aware).

for americans, there are hordes of cute young chinese girls that want to come to america.
though it helps if you are not in places like shanghai and hong kong where there are loads of westerns and tons of money.

for rich chinese guys, they enjoy a similar advantage if not even better.
there is a chinese term that literally translates to "little three"
that means #3 - not the wife and not even the #1 mistress :lmao:

i can get a bit cynical after my wife secretly left me while i am very ill in 2015 (lost more than 25% of body weight)...

I just watched a tarantula wasp doing it's thing in the cycle of life,it was pretty cool, I thought about burying it in its tomb, but refrained and just watched .(from what I could see above ground)
