You just can't let go of 3 yards and a cloud of dust.
Here that's called a short yardage specialist!

So Dallas needs to bring back a rb who had one of the lowest yards per carry in the league? I swear some Dallas fans are addicted to mediocrity.I get that....but, if he can come in at a very friendly contract and we know what he brings and he knows what he brings.....why not? He's a good player with special skills and that plays through pain and injuries...there is no one else out there that can help us like he can.....unless we trade for someone that will cost a fortune.
Lol. Yep. According to some Cowboy fans, Zeke could bust one for 30 yards every time. But he chooses to only gain 2 yards per carry since he specializes in short runs to nowhere. Here that's called a short yardage specialist!
Just last year Philadelphia June 1st’d Fletcher Cox in March and then re-signed him a week later. So for a couple months he was listed as 2 different players on the capJune 1st, do they need to wait until then, because he was a June 1st cut? Or is that only when his money is available to use?
He does everything except gain yardage. The one mandatory reason to have a rb.I understand, but you and purple haze don't get my point. He has a home in Dallas, doesn't want to leave, great teammate....and yes, I know that for a fact. An old teammate of mine is on staff....he does the little things, GREAT!. Why not?
Loser mentality.I agree Ranching. He's more than the 50 yards a game he gives you.
He's the locker room barometer.
He's the good teammate.
He's the mood setter.
He's the guy that does whatever you ask that they don't have metrics for.
Troy Aikman agrees....
“I’ve talked to a number of people that have been in that locker room- coaches, players- and he’s the glue,” the Hall of Famer continued. “Losing those type of players- I’ve said it before- you don’t replace those guys. It’s really, really hard. We had some when I was playing: didn’t contribute much on the field during the games- he obviously would contribute more- but those that didn’t, they had a really big role in allowing us to do what we were able to do, and I think Zeke’s one of those people.”

nah, it's a bidness. If he can help, he's welcome at a vet minimum. But don't get your panties in a bind because Zeke has too much ego and pride to come back for a much lower salary to Dallas. I can see him doing it elsewhere tho: Jets, Bills, Etc...Pathetic.
You don't have to worry about that.Do we really want to win a championship without Dak and Zeke
4.4 YPC is gaining yards to the math I learned. He does everything except gain yardage. The one mandatory reason to have a rb.
Ezekiel Elliott averaged 3.8 yards per rush attempt in 2022. The more you know......4.4 YPC is gaining yards to the math I learned.
Not sure where you went to school at….school of hating on players and making stuff up?
I’m a fan of moving on from Zeke but if Dallas chooses to go that route, he may have some utility in limited use.
YPC 1st half - 4.2
YPC 2nd half - 3.3
YPC Qtr 1 - 4.2
YPC Qtr 2 - 4.2
YPC Qtr 3 - 4.0
YPC Qtr 4 - 2.3
The guy has a lot of miles and IMO, can’t handle even split duties anymore. The problem is I don’t think Dallas could resist putting him on the field and his stats suggest his production falls with increasing use.
But, is he?I'm on board too. He's smart enough to realize he's not going to be a featured back anymore and having him back as a role player (at the right cost) makes a lot of sense.
4.4 career. The more you know….or don’t know in some cases.Ezekiel Elliott averaged 3.8 yards per rush attempt in 2022. The more you know......
yeah, but Troy was talking about garrett. LOLI agree Ranching. He's more than the 50 yards a game he gives you.

He’s probably butt hurt level bravo.Apparently, Zeke doesn't want us.
Major hole???I hate to say it, but bring him back if it can be done on a deal hovering around $3-5 mil a year. It would fill a pretty major hole in the roster right now
