I'd take Zach Wilson, because he ran the WCO at BYU and they are running one now at NY Jets.
Yea, same boat as Lance.

I don't think the WCO part matters much, but he certainly has physical tools to make plays.

Let's hope not.

But does anyone else think this team is not only built for Dak, but also without him, and almost especially for Cooper Rush? I think it's pretty awesome.

I actually have confident in Rush, and more so now that weapons like Cooks pan out, and even more. If weapons like Schoon end up hitting, Oh my..I suspect Cooper is throwing harder this season. If he worked on anything it was probably agility and arm-strength. That would have been my offseason advice to Rush. He could be a good player. I still think that. Just needs to study guys like Testaverde, Warner, Flutie, day I say, George, even Dilfer, and Romo as a backup.

He's got a lot of those different sorts of traits as a player. That's seems to be the approach Chris Vaughn has taken with Deuce: matching players to study or emulate that match the ability, at least as far as the things you really can do, and I would say really focus on Kurt Warner.. Because of the limited arm thing. But you can actually work on strength. I know a guy who went from playing baseball at Concordia to being one of the best set up players in baseball. But that would be my advise to Cooper Rush.. just study, and be like the great ones, study what they do, but at the end of the day you're still you. Just upgrade your weapons, so-to-speak.

I think Deuece is a good example of why you should listen to the experts advising you. And think he'll be a good inspiration for teammates to see, hey, if Deuece can do it.. I'm going to do it, too. I think our bottom of the roster players were feeling down at when their time came around, and that's tough when you're playing an extension philosophy defense, where players are knowing what the others are doing and playing their role rather than gang tackling.

Anyway, cheers to those guys. That's what the preseason is about.

I really love what Rush did last year, but his limitations became very evident the final 2 or 3 games. Clearly he can get you a couple wins in a pinch, but I think that's about it.

TBH, if Cooper was the starter over Dak, there really wouldn't be much difference record wise. Arm strength about the same, mobility about the same now with Dak being less mobile and agile than 7 years ago. Cooper slightly better on his pocket presence. The only advantage Dak has is the experience, but not if you keep making the same dammm mistakes over and over. So like i said, not much difference except for the salary.

arm strength about the same!!! really where did you see that?
and its a funny spin. Dak is less mobile than 7 years ago, but compared to Rush, he is 100 yard sprinter. funny, you compared the arm strength to each other, but Dak mobility to Dak from 7 years ago.
Cooper rush led the 22nd ranked offense in every statistical category. so yeah, then there is that.

if you don't see much difference, then you are blind, just listening to TV and coming to conclusions. or you have an agenda to drive.

Zach Wilson has been a mega bust! To say he’s been terrible would be an understatement. The Jets went from real bad with Sam Darnold to a lot worse with Zach Wilson.

If Rush has to be the starter then the defense needs to hold teams under 20 like they previously did

Rush isnt bad but if you need Rush to sling it?

youre done....now Rush in a low scoring game? where you need smart ball? Alex Smith Ball? he'll win that game 90% of the time

It's a long season, and Rush will eventually win the SuperBowl. Nothing bad about Dak, but the stars are aligned once more not woke.

Yeah, that doesn't even make sense. Coops has the arm strength of a 12 year old girl.

Cooper Rush showed leadership that Dak doesn't understand.
He played well, and the Cowboys were better with him than Dak.
Rush would have won vs San Francisco; Dak laid an egg.
The Eagles game exposed Rush, the 49ers would have done the same.

yep, the guy didn't know the ref had to spot the ball, then throw the exact same pass that was intercepted. I guess it's just bad luck or the glitch gene.

You guys would be pissed if Rush came in and won it all. "Well dak would have scored 30 on them" "but dak would have......."

but that is okay if you're player over team kind of guy. that's okay,

I would celebrate naked in the streets if we win the superbowl with Rush. I would buy his jersey. but there is snow flake chance in hell in that would happen. a QB that leads the 22nd or worst ranked offense ain't got a chance.

you see, you are a Bash Dak over Dallas Cult. you are here celebrating every dallas loss with Dak at QB. and p!ss on every win.
you disappear after every Dallas win with Dak as the QB.

therein lies the difference between a Bash Dak over Dallas fan and a cowboys fan.

some of your cult fans have even said. they want to see Dallas lose with Dak as the QB. are you that way too? you have the balls to say that?
