The Chase Daniels QB program assures long-term pay but must be willing to relocate & rent. The program has provided income for many for a lengthy period. Ensures pension eligibility too.So thinking as he may be, what was the point of trading for him, just to forever be the backup???
He doesn't honor his word. No use asking him to.will you leave if Dak gets an extension? please say yes.
You just said he didn’t play high school and college football and in this post say he did….you’re all over the place.Really. Look up their stats.
Lances played 9 games in HS(only 53 completions) Was not good enough to start until a Senior. Had no offers coming out of HS. Went to college camps, and his position was changed for QB to athlete. Schools tried to move him to DB.
Only started 1 season in college. Stats not very good with low level competition.
The Rams thought Jared Goff wasn't the answer either, and now he's in the NFC championship game with the Lions.......Pretty sure the Niners announced that to the world already. Especially when the team was already in place around him day 1. There was no reason to build anything around him.
i'll get the paperwork ready!! lolIf dak signs a long-term deal, I may seek a trade.
is this sarcasm or comedy? The Chase Daniels QB program assures long-term pay but must be willing to relocate & rent. The program has provided income for many for a lengthy period. Ensures pension eligibility too.

A bit of both......the backup QB, if handling signals well, sitting beside the starting QB to bring comfort after a miscue, bring good coffee & donuts to the meeting, be sacrificial during practice and stay quiet......you can parlay all of that into a long career. Just sayin'.is this sarcasm or comedy?
Here are some of the notable records and statistical rankings set by Goff in college:The Rams thought Jared Goff wasn't the answer either, and now he's in the NFC championship game with the Lions.......
We're still trying to figure that out.So thinking as he may be, what was the point of trading for him, just to forever be the backup???
Sam Darnold beat him out.Trey Lance first has to prove that he can at least be a solid back up QB before he can convince other teams that he can be a better starting QB than the one they currently have or the one they can get through the draft. The 49ers still traded him away with the QB friendly system they have. We don't know what Trey Lance can even be until he starts to see some time on the field during preseason or in regular season if Dak gets injured.
He still has a lot of work to do in order to convince other teams that he could make for a solid season long starter IMO.
You may not know, but the Niners know, that is why he is no longer there. I trust the Niners opinion more than yours.Trey Lance first has to prove that he can at least be a solid back up QB before he can convince other teams that he can be a better starting QB than the one they currently have or the one they can get through the draft. It was purely a nonsensical ego gratification move by Jerry. So thinking as he may be, what was the point of trading for him, just to forever be the backup???

Qb's are drafted based on Measureables, not college stats....TimTebow has many college records, didn't help him in the NFL...SF also moved on from Garoppolo. Dallas traded for Lance because they liked his measureables coming out of college, he was a former first round selection who was injured in SF that hampered his developent and it was a chance to get a look at him at his lower trade value and see if they could develop him...Trey played 9 games in HS and 1 year in college. Please stop comparing athlete Trey to real QB's, just because the Niners drafted him early does not make him a QB.

I think I'll just let the rest of board correct you on this one.Qb's are drafted based on Measureables, not college stats....TimTebow has many college records, didn't help him in the NFL...SF also moved on from Garoppolo.
