I think we will see an end to these threads by Monday morning.

I bet Dak has some trade value. The Cowboys are not built to successfully support Dak. There could be a team out there willing to take the plunge.
Unfortunately Dak has a no trade clause. And the dead money alone would kill us.

The difference in this case was Romo didn't play scared even after coming back from injuries. Dak seems terrified.
Dak is watching the pass rush. They say once you start doing that your done. You won't see Dak stand tall in the pocket and deliver a strike while taking a shot.

If the team is winning stay with what is working. This isn't something Moore is capable of, but that's what the team should do.

On that, it's not on him it's on coach Jerry

Do we keep the hot hand, or do we here the normal from Jerry "Dak is our guy, I want to make that clear!" One of the reasons I feel why we've never had a DECENT backup is because Jerry wanted to rid any QB controversy taking place!

At this point it's all about getting wins, please give me your thoughts..
i have a feeling Cooper will play better than dak , which is not very difficult .LOL . Dak may have some competition from cooper or grier if they get to play.

Thinking you can read is comical do you homers ever read?? The topic says IF, SAY IT WITH ME "IF" geez
“IF” is a pipe dream
He played at the very best of his ability last year and we won a game in spite of him
He’s certainly in the bottom 3-4 backup QB in the entire nfl and I actually like Rush
He’s just not a very good backup NFL QB
But he is great guy who works hard and gives you his best but that “best” is just not NFL quality and that’s why he was cut and 31 teams passed on his minimum contract

If he wins more than one game I'll be shocked.

He isn't keeping Dak on the bench.
It’s comical some think he’s on the level of Dak
He was cut and not a single team wanted him
He’s a great guy but he’s not even a solid NFL backup

We know for a fact that Dak isn't the guy to take us where we want to go, I'm fine moving on.

Sit him long enough and he will forgo the no trade clause. His agent will tell his brand is losing money as a backup on the Cowboys.

If Dak didn't have a no trade clause, do you think teams would be lining up an offering us 1st round draft picks and taking on his 40 million dollar salary if we made him availible for a trade?

Then maybe a rethink after the next garbage dump. As ive said repeatedly either he or CeeDee has to go, they are just incompatible (to get some worth out of him he needs the ball in front of him and Dak's ability to hit a receiver on the run is well documented).

If we get Wentz's 2nd and 3rd Rd pick, a contenting team lose their QB, Dak realizes we arent going anywhere and garbage time continues.

All of these stars align AND Jerry thinks he can do without a merch selling QB then it's still 50/50.

Rush is physically limited, to put it mildly. “Getting hot” is for backups who have some talent like Andy Dalton or Jon Kitna. The Cowboys will be lucky to avoid a shut out this week.
..that's why Rush wont make the bill. Dallas needs a physical QB.

Playmaker that can open plays with his feet.

Even Rodgers at his age, will run to open playbook.

Rush is 28. He has been in the league for 5 years. At no point has he done anything to suggest he could get “hot”. Arguably he shouldn’t be on a roster.
