Agreed, John.I would play some of the back ups and younger players to give them experience and see what they offer.
Meh. You're such a loser, you even have to steal my own line(s).But you like losing by your own post, so I already won. You can’t help it you just have the loser mentality built in. Find a new team loser
Loser, lmao, you’re the tank man now. AC the guy who’s talk is cheap and likes tanking, all bark no bite.Meh. You're such a loser, you even have to steal my own line(s).
The Bengals will buckle under the weight of our talent just like the rest of them. It’s not if it’s when
The Bengals offense is lights out, it’s the defense that’s probably worse than our 2020 defense
Yep and that's the Cowboy way. Always use the excuse of we have other needs. That's exactly why this team isn't going anywhere.Sorry, only 2 QBs worthy of taking in the 1st round. Both are being taken in the top 5 overall picks. Too costly for the Cowboys. Sorry to burst your Dak hating bubble. There are several other positions in need that should be addressed early in each round.
Sorry, QB isn't one of them during the early rounds. More important holes to fill with very limited draft picks.Yep and that's the Cowboy way. Always use the excuse of we have other needs. That's exactly why this team isn't going anywhere.
Tough guy behind a computer. Typical. lolLoser, lmao, you’re the tank man now. AC the guy who’s talk is cheap and likes tanking, all bark no bite.
Thanks ACAgreed, John.
Teams intentionally sit star players who are not injured and claim it is for "load management".Do they?
How do you tank an 82 game season? How many games can you deliberately lose to get the #1, #2, or #3 pick when there is a lottery?
I know they give some players a game off but I don't consider it tanking. In many cases it is prudent to do so considering the length of the season and the wear it puts on veteran players.
Yea the NBA is notorious for tanking seasons . I’m not sure I’d describe it as “ throwing “ games but they obviously weren’t making their best effort to win.Teams intentionally sit star players who are not injured and claim it is for "load management".
One of the biggest tank jobs was done by the Dallas Mavericks and Mark Cuban when he was still the owner, if they would have won their last two games of the season they had a chance to make the playoffs, if they lost those game they would be drafting in the top 10. Why is that important? Because they traded away their first round pick to the Knicks, but it was top 10 protected, meaning if they were in the top 10 they could keep the pick.
So, the Mavs intentionally sat all of their starters even though they were still alive for a playoff spot to make sure they lost the games and could keep their 1st round pick. The NBA fined them $750,000 it was so blatant, but they got to keep their first round pick. Just google Mavs and tanking if you want to know more about how it went down.
That is just one example, there are other examples of teams literally throwing games down the stretch to improve their lottery odds.
Very limited draft picks? There are 7 rounds and the Cowboys will have at least 8 picks as of today.More important holes to fill with very limited draft picks.
Jerry wouldn't know what to do anyway. He's probably eyeing a TE from a community college who's on his 3rd ACL surgery right now...Should they tank (lose out) and secure a higher draft pick for next year's draft?
I mean, if the Cowboys lose to the Bengals, they would be at 5 - 8 with only 4 games left in the season. A loss on Monday Night against the Bengals would pretty much eliminate our Cowboys from reaching the playoffs, so why not lose out and secure a much higher draft pick?
What say you?
Name the rounds and every pick in them. Let's see those 8 draft picks and where they lie in each round.Very limited draft picks? There are 7 rounds and the Cowboys will have at least 8 picks as of today.
