Im honored to hear that from you. I have never met or interacted with a Skins fan that hated ANYTHING more than the Cowboys.

And I agree on Pats fans. They are every bit as bad as Jets or Bills fans. The only difference is they are more snooty because of that self perceived NE importance thing and most dont tend to be as blue collar as the Bills and Jets fans. Just my experience seeing them at Dolphins games.

I think you're right, and I think that's what bothers them the most. They can gloat amongst themselves, but bragging to those outside their fan base will mostly be met with "your team didn't earn it fairly" type replies. Personally, that would remove a lot of the luster for me if I/my team were in the same position.

No it really wouldn't. Cowboys fans, of all people, should know that an "us against the world" mentality only makes victory sweeter.

Anyone being truly honest - and I know so many of you in here are not - would have to admit that there isn't a fan in this forum that wouldn't be ecstatic having a stretch like the Patriots just had, warts and all.

Read what I wrote again. I said it would remove the luster for ME. If it doesn't bother you as an obvious Pats fan, then so be it. It would bother me. I know when all the hoopla occurred in the Detroit game, it bothered me as a Cowboys fan that a lot of people wouldn't give them credit for the win. I want my team to win and be seen as deserving the win. If you like tainted victories, more power to you.

I can't say it bothered me one bit because the only people not giving Dallas due credit were pretty ignorant (kinda like this situation with the Patriots).

For you to say this isn't bothering you is obvious BS. You're defending your Pats with every fiber of your being (not to mention hundreds of posts) because it bothers you that others aren't giving your team credit. You can dispute that all you want, but it's quite obvious to everyone that it bothers you, otherwise you wouldn't be here carrying on these endless "My Pats have done nothing wrong/My Pats are great" posts.

Nah, this is just me commenting heavily on the major sports story of the past month. I don't give 2 turds about the Ravens but I commented all the time about the Ray Rice controversy back in August/September when that was ongoing.

Nice try, though..!! But now you should get back to feeling guilty and apologizing to everyone about how Dallas beat Detroit.
 
The cheating and other ethics threads are just like political muckraking. Politicians don't give a damn about right or wrong - just if they can discredit opponents PERIOD. Various members will give domestic abusers, manslaughters, etc as pass if they can help the Cowboys, but mention cheating by a team the Cowboys play once every four years and some get LIVID. Proven and alleged cheating that is a 1 on a scale of 1-to-100. Members willfully ignore cheating and other ethics issues goes on frequently on the other 31 teams. So I question the haters ranting on values if they have values themselves!

You may not give two turds about Balt, but are obviously bothered by all the bad Pats PR and your love/defense of the Pats is sure obvious, so head on over to the Pats board and commiserate with your Pats brethren.

This thread and the other crying threads make it embarassing to be part of this forum. Im not saying this is specific to this forum, every group of sports fans have a large contingent of people that are an embarassment. Its a shame. The pats have been the best team in the league since Brady has been their QB. That has nothing to do with their division, fair play, or anything else. Thats what history will reflect.
