This thread and the other crying threads make it embarassing to be part of this forum. Im not saying this is specific to this forum, every group of sports fans have a large contingent of people that are an embarassment. Its a shame. The pats have been the best team in the league since Brady has been their QB. That has nothing to do with their division, fair play, or anything else. Thats what history will reflect.

Being infuriated by cheating has nothing to do with " crying " about the situation. Fans have a reasonable expectation of integrity in the game. The Patriots have a blatant attitude of DEFIANT cheating. To have it ignored by the league, is exceptionally infuriating.

That's the most recent report, reported on the NFL Network. According to the same reports, all the other balls were just "a tick" under 12.5.

Of course, all these reports are unofficial..... but that one definitely has had the most legs.

Yes it is a vague term, but I don't think anyone can intelligently infer that "a tick" means 2 PSI.

Please note I cannot speak for the "guilty until proven innocent and even then they're still guilty" crowd to which you so fervently subscribe.

That's enough for me from a proven and documented cheater. The measurement of the tick is irrelevant when intent has been revealed. The same way that intent to deceive is separate from the success of an unconvincing lie, so is the intent to cheat, whether or not it was grossly or barely cheating.
