Newsflash: It was an NFL employee who stole the footballs, not a Patriots employee. Let me say that again: It was a LEAGUE employee who stole the footballs and has subsequently been fired by the LEAGUE.

In the future I suggest you actually read articles before commenting on them. You'll look a lot less foolish.

Here's the "news" that was out there for all to read:

A locker room attendant for the New England Patriots tried to introduce an unapproved special teams football into last month's AFC Championship Game, the same game at the center of the "Deflategate" allegations, four sources familiar with the investigation told "Outside the Lines."

One source said that the attendant assigned to the officials' locker room, identified as 48-year-old Jim McNally,

McNally is a part-time employee who was hired by The Kraft Group, a company owned by Patriots owner Robert Kraft. Kelly Way, the director of operations for TeamOps at Gillette Stadium, said NFL game-day employees are paid by The Kraft Group.

Then, the story changes:

What the NFL’s VP of Game Operations blundered into instead was a memorabilia scam. Run by an NFL employee. In which said employee (as-yet unnamed) took game-used footballs that were going to be donated to charity so he could hawk them and pocket the money.

McNally was just a fall guy for this NFL-employed scam artist, according to Adam Schefter, ESPN’s well-connected NFL insider.

What looks foolish is this yarn being spun now that an NFL employee was stealing footballs to sell and the Pats didnt know a thing. Of course a Pats lover will swallow this hook, line, and sinker, but aint nobody else buying it.

Cant wait for the next spin on the deflated footballs mystery. If the NFL is willing to slap the Pats on the wrist for SpyGate and burn all the evidence its no wonder what we've seen so far is happening. This story & coverup will get more comical as Robert Krafty pulls Goodell's puppet strings.

Roger has said to Mr Krafty, "dont worry about a thing." "We'll spin this into such a mess that nobody will be able to make heads or tails of any of it and then we can just move on as if nothing ever happened."

What looks foolish is someone ignorantly thinking the Patriots are supposed to know that an NFL employee is stealing gameballs to sell for his own personal profit on the side.

Adam Schefter and Mike Florio are hardly Patriots supporters, but they are the ones reporting this so your statement that only "Pats lovers" are buying this just further shows how little you know about that which you speak.

Anytime someone calls the worst team punishment in league history a "slap on the wrist," all they're doing is announcing to the world how ignorant and ill-informed they are.

Seriously. If we lived in a world where everything was done right. The pats would have to give back the 4 Super Bowl lombardi's.

No what looks excessively foolish is some Patsie fan ignorantly thinking that any reasonable and sensible person will buy this "NFL employee" stealing footballs fabrication. Or ignorantly thinking that Robert Krafty isnt yanking on Goodell's strings. And then whats the most ignorant of all is making asinine statements about the "worst team punishment in league history" as if the punishment which amounts to a slap on the wrist for the crime is somehow a greater degree of punishment than the Saints received for BountyGate.

You continue to make foolish post after post after post. Double down on the foolishness.

I see that Angry Oriole beating out another AL East title in 2015.

Oh, BTW, you think the league wants those tainted Lombardi's back? Damaged goods bro, damaged goods. An empty trophy. Kinda like those Commander Lombardis from the strike years. Its a trophy, but mostly meaningless.

Seriously. You're trying to give someone the death penalty for going 75 MPH in a 70 MPH zone - and the more we learn about this incident, the more it looks like they weren't even going 75 MPH in the first place.

Seriously. Jealousy is very unbecoming a Cowboys fan. Seriously.

It is being reported as fact by multiple newsmedia outlets. I support they're all under the control of the New England Patriots too?

Well, I look at the toughest BountyGate punishment as being levied at an individuals (specifically the head coach) and not the team.

But really... if you want to say the BountyGate punishment was worse, I'll gladly concede the point. The does nothing to change the fact that it is phenomenally ignorant to claim the 2nd worst team punishment in league history - and the worst punishment in league history at the time it was levied - was just a "slap on the wrist."

Now please stop whining like a baby and face facts:patriots won it fair and square. Stop acting like an Eagles fan circa mid-90's.

Talk about doubling down! The NFL just fired the guy who did this. What's the matter with you? Man, hate is an amazing thing.

Pats are clean on this entire fiasco, from stem to stern. The Colts, ESPN, and the league are the villains here. It's not your fault, you were fed a load of crap by ESPN. But stop the BS posts when it's obvious this was a sham.

And everything from the beginning of this whole thing has been reported as fact by the mediots. They are just parrots. They repeat what they hear. Funny how NOW you want to latch onto the mediot FACTS as if the media is to be trusted, respected and honored for the very validity of the information they are reporting, yet previously in this situation you said that what the mediots reported wasnt really what had actually happened and their "news" was wrong.

You need to apply for a job with Comedy Central.

You remind me of somebody as you doubledown on the nonsense. Not sure if its any of these clowns, but it might be:

No jealousy. When we win, we win! No questions, doubts or clouds hanging over us. Pats not so much.

How is that any different from the people who remained married to Mortensen's 4 week old report which has been discredited time and again?

Oh wait, those reports fit your made up, ignorant narrative. So you'll remain married to the report even though it keep giving you Irish sunglasses every time you talk.

No questions or doubts? Are ya serious? Did you even turn on your computer once during the week following the Lions game? Many Cowboys-haters in other forums took great pleasure in bashing the Cowboys for that victory (which they earned 100% fair and square).

You sound just as ignorant as they do. Your jealousy is very unbecoming a Cowboys fan.

.

So Mortensen's "reported facts" werent accurate? But the newest "reported facts" are accurate because the newest "facts" fit your desires. Got it. Talk about being married to an ignorant narrative.

Well, they've been contradicted multiple times by multiple sources. You'll have to decide what to believe - and we all know you'll believe any unsubstantiated report that fits your jealous narrative.

Get back to me when someone - anyone - contradicts the newest reports.

You're married to a report that has been contradicted several times, including by the guy's very own employer. That's right, even ESPN has backed down from Mort's Report. But you can go on praying that somehow it all magically turns out to be true. :lmao::lmao:

I've carefully analyzed the initial reports, the specifics of being 2 and 1 psi low for 11 of 12 footballs seems unlikely to be made up, especially since the new reports are not specific, "a tick below" (which could mean anything from 10 psi low to 2 tenths of a psi low.)

I've seen the way Belicheck and Brady were less than forthcoming in their press conference, and expected us to believe the footballs were randomly underinflated.

I've stated my case and suspicions, and I'll wait for the additional facts to come out. But if those facts are non-specific drivel, I'll become more suspicious that this is some large scale cover-up, "for the good of the sport".

If it's all wrapped up in a tidy package, I'll take it with a grain of salt. But a large scale cover-up will come crashing down at some point, whether in a month, or several decades.

Rogah, keep rambling about turds, malfunctioning radar guns and people getting shot at a traffic stop. It's fun watching you lose your mind.

No one is jealous, certainly not me. But I can say that one thousand times to you, and it won't ever make sense to you. You've become quite a broken recording, "Your jealousy is unbecoming, your jealousy is unbecoming, rawwrrrrk, polly wanna cracker!!"

Ultimately, I think the possibility of cheating by the Super Bowl winner during the playoff run, is so embarrassing to the league, they're willing to attempt a large scale cover up to hide it, rather than punish it. We'll see.

If you think "a tick" could mean 10 PSI below when the acceptable range is 12.5 PSI to 13.5 PSI then you need to advance your reading comprehension beyond the 2nd grade level.

You obviously didn't see those press conferences. Belichick clearly discussed the laws of physics that got the balls to that point.

Newsflash: There's nothing random about the laws of physics.

Translation: The Patriots are guilty until proven innocent and even then they're still guilty.

It's certainly a lot better than your "The Patriots are cheaters! Take away their wins! The Patriots are cheaters! Take away their wins! The Patriots are cheaters! Take away their wins! The Patriots are cheaters! Take away their wins! The Patriots are cheaters! Take away their wins! The Patriots are cheaters! Take away their wins! " routine.

Looks to me like those that are jealous of the Patriots are getting their pre-emptive excuse making out there. They know the Patriots are innocent, so they're already alleging a "league cover up." :lmao2::lmao2:
