Yes it is your agenda against Garrett is non sense, you can't give him credit because admitting you just might be wrong kills you. I love it, talk your foolish smack all you want just makes you look foolish

Me admitting I was wrong... Lol... Man, you trip me up as well... It seems you can't admit that JG sucked as a play caller.

I hate when threads turn into stuff line this. The reality is that up until this year JG showed nothing that said "good coach." Blew games, couldn't manage clock, and refused to run the ball. This year they have clicked and he and the team seemed to find their grove. I've never been a JG fan but I'm a Boys fan and if he proves himself then it's good for everyone.

The reality is that you have never been a JG fan, and now its tough if you can't get past that. Thankfully it looks like you are trying. I think he has proven himself, this season is showing it. And btw, while he has been rebuilding this team he has never had a losing season. Can't ask for more than that.

It is funny you admitting your wrong is something you will not do. I fully expect you to continue to slam Garrett or discredit him, I have no issue with someone who want to play the fool.

Admit wrong about what? The play-calling? That my grandma could coach this team?

Yes we can pick and choose... The reality is Jason has been removed from the play-calling against his desire. It's about giving real credit where it belongs.

What's going to happen when Bill Callahan's contract ends this year? You think resigning Garrett will magically retain the OL quality?

It belongs to everyone and why make it a point to not give credit to Garrett.

Who knows how this line will play next year, that's next year.

Let's enjoy today's win, we're sitting atop of our division after beating a team that couldn't be beat in their house. We did it with players not available on our end while they were pretty much at full strength. I'm off to enjoy that on other threads. I'm leaving this one alone.

I'm sure your grand ma knows more about the game than you. Pride can't take being wrong but again I like watching clowns they make me laugh.

I normally leave these type of threads alone, but I'll chime in.

I see a team that is playing their butts off week in and week out. As much as we want to give credit to certain personnel, this is where credit is due for EVERYONE!

I can ensure everyone if we were 1-5 there would be one person who would be the target. We can't pick and choose when we want to give credit or criticize Garrett.

All I care about is if we're winning. If this team continues to thrive I say keep every member of this coaching staff on board.

I'm out fellas. Too much joy to deal with nonsense. Great job Cowboys. See the Giants next week!

I wanted Garrett gone, Jerry kidnapped and relocated to Peru, and Romo dismissed. At this point, I've been wrong about all of them.

Why make it a point to start a thread to give credit to Garrett and talk about resigning him when Callahan's contract plays out this year and avoid mentioning that? Our OL man handled the Seahawks DL...

Callahan was the guy coaching at Wisconsin, meaning, he had the contacts there...

The cognitive dissonance I'm experiencing with Garrett makes me feel crazy. On one hand, I still think he's a joke who has no business coaching an NFL team, and on the other hand, I think he's currently the number one candidate for Coach of the Year.

I'm hoping I've been horribly wrong about the guy. Maybe now that he finally has his vision for this team, he'll be leading the Cowboys for years to come.

Garrett. Garrett. Garrett. How many times would you like to see it before you're wrong about him?

-3 Turnovers. Mistakes from the beginning. Horrible odds. Team fights like no one has a contract past next week.

So what's the difference between this year and past years when Garrett was coaching?

Garrett may not be a great Xs and Os guy - heck he may not even be adequate - but his focus on where to build the team to enhance and emphasize balance, and his delegation to people who know what they're doing, i.e the coordinators, has been working. Winning changes everything.

Wrong about what?

Garrett had his team ready, being HC is not about calling plays. Jimmy never did and many others don't. His job is to get his team ready. Coaching is not just Sunday it is 7 days a week.

There's always going to be a last guy to admit he was probably wrong. Get a big enough group, you'll have some who will never admit it. No matter what all available evidence to the contrary might suggest. This is no different. Let's just hope it keeps looking like khiladi was dead wrong on this topic. Go Cowboys.

Rumblings that Garrett is front runner for Coach of the Year so far.

About Garrett ability as HC. Again HC'ing is not about play calling it is getting his entire team ready to go. He is involved with putting in the game plans and making sure those who work under him are getting it done. His job is to get his team focused. You may not know it HC does not work for coordinators they work under him.
