The reality is that you have never been a JG fan, and now its tough if you can't get past that. Thankfully it looks like you are trying. I think he has proven himself, this season is showing it. And btw, while he has been rebuilding this team he has never had a losing season. Can't ask for more than that.

I haven't, you are right. But it was never out of some random slight to JG. I thought he was way over his head and blew many games. His record and blown games showed that. Even Jerry admitted that after this past season. It wasn't a secret. Good guy and all but to me he was more Kubiak than late bloomer. But I'm a Cowboys fan first and foremost. So cheering for losses to get JG out is dumb. I just wanted to see progress under him. I'm glad we are finally running and have a balanced team. What's not to like? I'd rather the guy prove me wrong than us be horrible or even mediocre again.

My worries now are Murrays carries. Want Dunbar to spell some.

About Garrett ability as HC. Again HC'ing is not about play calling it is getting his entire team ready to go. He is involved with putting in the game plans and making sure those who work under him are getting it done. His job is to get his team focused. You may not know it HC does not work for coordinators they work under him.

Let me say I don't think this one game protects Garrett. I think you are judged by your season not a single game good or bad. Dallas did great today and Jason and his staff had these guys ready but their are 10 more to go.

at times no they were not. In pressure games they folded. Garrett has made mistakes every coach will. Was Garrett in over his head early on well to an extent he was but he has also been a big part in rebuilding this offense and now the defense. It is not him alone but yes he plays a big role in it.
