Collins had about 38 starts in college. Parnell had 1 start at OT on any level before 2014 and played as well as Free. The Cowboys have 3 All Pros in Tyron, Martin and Fred and a solid veteran in Leary. If they can't handle a rookie on the OL, what team can?

Too early to say. the investigation could be jump-started suddenly. collins could be plugged in elsewhere. You might bow out during camp. Anything could happenate at any point. Way too early to speculate.

Last year, much bigger dropoff from Leary to Bern than Free to Parnell. That means we need a better backup OG. Leary is perfect for that. We tried to draft OG in Turner last year anyway. We haven't shown commitment to Leary. Plus, Collins projects as elite OG, good OT, like Martin did. Collins at LG, Free at RT until replaced by Green.

Not as a run blocker. Parnell was pretty bad.

He cannot get too upset. He was in a similar situation to Collins, at least from the UDFA getting paid pretty good route by Jerry Jones.

If he does get upset, oh well.

What RB is worth trading for besides Peterson?

Outside of Bell and Charles there isn't a RB in the league that isn't a rookie that I would trade for.


People are complaining about our RB situation but I hope you guys realize that Zac Stacy and Ryan Matthews are top 10 RB's in this league.

I'm still a huge Leary fan but I think Collins can be elite at LG. Leary improved a lot each year and has looked dominant at times. More upside than Free IMO. But his knee is a concern and Chaz Green might be our future RT.

Not true. Murray had the same average within 0.1 yards/carry with either Free or Parnell starting. Parnell was better in power run blocking. Free was better in backside zone. They were about the same in frontside zone.
