If you are Leary do you demand a trade?

Would you stop talking about trading our Starters please, our identity is our Oline and we got to the playoffs because they carried us there.
there is no upside in trading anybody right now at all.

We have two rookie OL that need to PROVE they can start. Collins needs to fight with Leary and earn a starting spot at LG, he is NOT a RT and I do not want to see him there at any time. I'd throw Green out there at RT before Collins, Green is far more natural at RT. Either way to start the 2015 season, if Free isn't healthy, we are in trouble at RT.

And before anyone takes a fit, it's just MY opinion that Collins isn't an NFL RT. If he comes in and we plug him in at RT and he plays at a high level, perfect, I'm glad to be wrong.

I don't think Leary has much of a chance of beating Collins out if they are looking at him at LG. Maybe none

I agree. It seems pretty obvious to me that Collins was told he would be the starter day 1- JG can talk all he wants about competition but there is no way we went to Collins without sayig that.

Collins is a top 15 player and was the 1st or 2nd best lineman in college football last year. He is alreay better than Ronald Leary (and i really like Leary-he is solid).

Leary "demand" a trade? hmm...AP demands a trade an yet, he sits on the Vikings roster...Leary isn't going to demand anything...besides, I want them all to compete for starting jobs (free, leary, and the rookies)

Leary may be only worth a 5th rounder at this point, but give training camp some time and about after week 2, there are going to be guards banged up around the league and at that point the Cowboys may be able to squeeze a little higher pick out of the guy.

I don't know if it makes much sense to have Bernadeau and Leary. That is great depth, but it is also pricey, especially if you can get a pick for Leary at some point during the year, especially if you don't see him in your future. He won't sign with us to be a backup, and some team will pay him to start.

IF Collins is eventually earmarked for RT, he's going to probably take a while.

According to things I've read, he played LG and LT at LSU. When they played him at RT during senior bowl week, it was supposedly quite ugly and awkward for him. That's not to say he can't make that switch, but I wouldn't be expecting it to happen his rookie year.

I'm willing to bet Leary will get a 5th round comp pick (or better) worth offer next year

What RB is worth trading for besides Peterson?

Outside of Bell and Charles there isn't a RB in the league that isn't a rookie that I would trade for.

People are complaining about our RB situation but I hope you guys realize that Zac Stacy and Ryan Matthews are top 10 RB's in this league.

Isaiah Crowell
Christine Michael

Anthony Dixon
Ka Deem Carey

If we could pry away one of the top two guys they would easily be an upgrade over Randle and Williams. Probably an upgrade over McFadden.

Cleveland needs OL help. They added Duke Johnson and still would have West.
Seattle could use some help on the OL. Turbin I think is the main backup there. Plus Lynch gets all the carries anyway.

Anthony Dixon would be a great "big" back. Rex Wanted Collins. Maybe he'd be interested in Leary instead.
Ka Deem Carey is a little lesser than the top two guys, but the Bears just picked up Langford and added Jacquizz Rodgers.

Ok, ill tip my cap to you on Isaiah Crowell.. He's got some talent for sure.

The rest of those guys i'd pass on.

I like our RB's compared to all of those guys.

I think if you give McFadden space he will be a killer with his size, vision, speed, and acceleration.

I just worry about his availability.

If we could snag Michael I'd be ecstatic. He may be the most physically gifted RB in the league right now. He's been a little slow to pick up his assignments and has some trouble hanging onto the ball. But you add him to McFadden and Randle, I'd feel a whole lot better about things. Even better if we could get Crowell.

The other two guys would still be nice adds. Probably not up to the "potential" of McFadden, but give us a little something that Randle and Williams don't.

I'd rather have Robert Turbin lol.

Heck, i'd love to have James Starks from Green Bay.

Christine Michael? Eh...

you make it sound like offensive lineman cant adjust and play other positions on the line. if youre talented enough, which Collins is, then you can adjust and be good even great at another position. Remember Tyron was a right tackle in college, Martin was a left tackle, Larry Allen played just about every position on the line expect center. i think collins could play left tackle, right tackle and guard at a very high level. i wouldnt pidgeon hole him into a single spot. play him where he is most valuable. play the best 5

Ka'Deem Carey was one fourth round draft pick from last year I was interested to see if he would be available, the other is James White in New England.
