If You Could Break a Career Record...

Football: Most Kick Return TD's :D [ If theres such thing ]

Soccer: Most Goals in World Cups

Hockey: Not Interested

Baseball: Most Strikeouts :D:D:D Hahaha

Football: I also will go along with winning 5 SBs as a QB for the Cowboys.

Basketball: Breaking Wilt Chamberlain's stats from the 1961/62 season: 50.4 points per game average, 25.7 rebounds, 48.53 minutes per game, and 100 points in a game. Far and away the most dominant single season by any player in any sport.

Baseball: I'll go with Aaron's home run record. Home runs are the only exciting aspect of the "pastime".

Beach Volleyball: Karch Kiraly's winning a title at age 47 (last season). What I wouldn't give to be in that kind of shape. Karch is only a couple of months younger than me and I played against him and Sinjin Smith nearly 30 years ago. He is still playing at a high level while I am struggling to fit into my shorts. I also played against Wilt in a beach tournament which was truly a thrill for me since he was one of my childhood heroes.

Baseball: Career pitching victories. Someone will shatter DiMaggio's 56-game streak before anyone even comes anywhere close to Cy Young's 511 wins.

Or his career losses at 316.

Baseball all time Home runs is the Mecca

Baseball all time hits you would need 200 hits for 22 seasons to pass Pete Rose. The Hall is for great players and Heaven is for good people.

Hockey - no one really cares or could rattle off records. Ditto Basketball.

Basketball is probably Wilts 100 point game.

Football records? Probably career rushing yards and passing yards but a distant second to the baseball marks.

Greatest record that may never be broken? Ted Williams 56game hit streak.

Baseball's hit streak is a very tough one to break. 56 games in a row doesn't sound all that impressive, but no one has been able to touch it. That's the one I'd pick. It's Joe DiMaggio’s btw.

Emmitt's rushing record.

Hockey? Not a whole lot of interesting records in that sport.

I was actually thinking of a different one of Wilt's so-called records.;)

Wilt Chamberlin record with women would be a great one to break. :laugh1:

I would have to say Nolan Ryans 7 No Hitters

Football - Most TD's ever...Cause that would mean I was getting P A I D!

Basketball - most three pointers in a game

Hockey - huh?

Baseball - who cares

Football - I'm not big into individual records in a team game but getting 6 Super Bowl rings to break Haley's record would be nice. Either that or the all time career field goal record -- getting to be involved with the game yet still able to walk at 45 has its advantages.

Baseball - Ray Boone's record of having both a son and grandson follow him into the all star game is the one thing I would be most proud of than any other "record" in all of sports.

Basketball - Don't follow at all.

Hockey - Dave Shultz' 472 penalty minutes.

Golf - Tiger Woods' cut streak. To finish in the money every week is amazing.

TO' record for the # of teams he has single-handedly destroyed.

I think that the greatest football record is the all-time rushing record, but I wouldn't want that one cause that would mean I'd have to beat Emmitt..

Football: yeah, Emmitt's rushing TD record
Basketball: career ppg average
Baseball: career Triple Crown
NHL: Gretzky's scoring record

you mean Shaun ALexandreas rushing record? that was broke a while back...Marshal Faulk then Priest then Alexandrea

that one has already been taken at the bottom of the page before this. Not that I mind, but then one of us would no longer be the highest paid; unless we got the exact same contract.:)

im sure he meant Emmitt's CAREER rushing TD record, which is far more impressive than Alexander's SEASON rushing TD record..
