The Bears QB sucks (lets be honest), both of their RB's fumble on a regular basis, and they have one WR to be worried about (Berrian). My take: I get a feeling the Bears defense is going to be on the field quite a bit during the game. They will be wore down in the second half and that will open the running game for us. The Bears will also be without a couple of their key starters on defense which will weaken them a bit. Hester is the wildcard, he could literally change the game at any point and time.

31-17 Cowboys with most of our points coming in the second half.

I all onboard except that.... Grossman has had some big games and he won enough to go to SB.... we should win and eventually handle the defense for reasons you mentioned.... but if we have a average game and Rex is on... we could get the Loss that our defense has been promising us

And Rex does get hot every now and then. With our luck it'll be against us. Hopefully not though. If he's his usual bad self and we keep Hester under control and protect the football we could win big. Give us 2 out of 3 of those and we can still win in a struggle. Give them 2 out 3 and we lose.

I think we beat them handily. I'm predicting 27-13.

I kinda feel that way too.

Which probably means we'll lose 45-0.

If our Defense gives up 45 points to the freakin' Bears, Phillips can just go ahead and keep his *** in Chicago.

I thought Rex played well against SD, as did his OL(they were a Berrian bad route away from having a 10-0 lead at half). They were controlling the tempo of that game throughout-it was the RBs that costed them.

San Diego looks like a different team this year. They just appear uninspired and more conservative on both sides of the ball. The team played with a lot more emotion last year. Maybe this is the result of having to learn a new O and D or maybe Norv is really that bad at coaching.

I'm just not impressed with Grossman and the Bears. They're playing a lot worse than last year. I'm beginning to wonder if they can win the central.

I get worried before everygame, but thats just me. But really I'm very confident about this game, either way its going to put the Cowboys in there place. I just feel like there is something special happening to this team, anyone else feel it? I don't know I mean I barely remember when the Cowboys were good and it just feels like its going to be a great year.

I think we have a pretty good team, don't get me wrong. But I just feel like this team we're playing is going to be extremely fired up in front of a Sunday night crowd, and that can make a huge difference, especially on defense. Their quick DL is the kind that seems to give our big guys problems, and their LBs and DBs are very opportunistic. Of course Urlacher is one of the best players in the game.

It's not so much that I think our team isn't that good, although I do think we have some fairly significant weaknesses. It's more that I think people are underestimating a very good and very experienced defense playing in front of their home crowd.

Plus, as bad as Grossman is overall, he can get on hot streaks and hit everything he looks at for short periods of time. I hope we aren't catching him at just the wrong time.

Maybe I'm wrong. The Dolphins D is always tough at home, and we did well against them. Maybe Rex will melt down and throw the ball up to us like everyone thinks. Maybe Ware will come on and get two or three big sacks.

But if we do win this game, I think it will say a lot about our team, because I think the Bears are pretty good.

It's so early in the season and have we really carved out a niche for this Dallas team? I mean, that's what worries all of us. What is the defense going to do this week? Is this offense for real being a potential high powered scoring machine? Garrett is our light at the end of the tunnel only problem is, he's in the tunnel with us. First year as OC, what is he capable of against teams like the Bears and the Patriots?

Sorry to answer your question with questions but man, there are sooooo many if's and I hate if's.

I agree. If we win I'll be much more comfortable with this team. Yep, the Bears are pretty good.

I just hope Dallas keeps fighting this whole game. Especially Romo...if he throws few picks and fumbles few times.....people will come out of the woodwork and say "see what happens when he actually plays a good defense". I just want Dallas to compete...something to build on. I think Dallas will stick it to St. Louise....so I am ok with 3-1 start.

I think it will be a close game but I do expect the Cowboys to go out there and take this game.

I feel like I did before the Colts game last year in that we're playing a team not hitting on all cylinders. The Bears lackluster performance against the awful Chiefs reminds me of the Colts lackluster win against the Titans before playing us. Although were not at home and the Colts strengths are different than the Bears, I think we have a chance to show how good WE are on a national stage. My gut tells me OUR defense is sick of hearing about how great the Bears D is, pride will set in and we'll have our best showing yet. I'm at a point where I trust Romo. Playing steady and not forcing anything on offense will be the key. Punting the ball away (as long as it's not fielded by Hester) may not be a bad end to a drive. Grossman WILL make mistakes. We have to play a smart game. We need a discouraged Grossman and the home crowd to turn against him.

It works best in our favor if we can get a lead early on the Bears.

If we are leading and they have to rely on Grossman going deep to stretch the field and score quickly, he will eventually screw up.

But if they are leading, and all he has to do is handoff, dump off the short passes, .. he can be good doing that.

So I hope we get ahead early in the game and they have to chase us.

the team they beat s.d and k.city those two teams on offense just aint that good

Remember though... if we get a lead early... we keep on playing... keep on scoring.... its not like we are going to get a lead and sit on it...

Right, I agree, ... all the better.

If Rex is chasing us, that's a good thing! He WILL make mistakes.

I can't wait to watch it!

I hope to never see that tactic ever again. I don't want to turn anything over to our defense to hold someone. I hate prevent defense and I prevent offense too.

I don't want to run up the score, but I'd rather do that than just the old kill the clock stuff. One more score will kill the clock too.
