Multiple interviews preseason on DC.com. Go ahead.

Why should I do your research for you. You made the comment, so back it up with your own research.

This is one my pet peeves on here more than anything else. Fans will make comments, but will never back them up with links or proof. Yes some can be opinions but yours is not. It was stated as fact.

So prove it, and I will stand corrected.

I will grant you that he was not good yesterday but he still managed to lead the team in Tackles. Downfield or not, he is making tackles.

Not saying he won't ever be good, but this guy's nowhere near ready. Swallowed up in run game and can't cut to ball.

He is a work in progress. Let's give him credit for how far he has come. He will be a good one in this league with time. I bet we see a different Jaylon 7 to 10 games in. One thing that was disturbing was hearing Jerry say that he was one of the better players in that game. Not sure which game he was watching, maybe tackle wise but on most plays he was MIA.

So, basically you are saying he shouldn't be allowed to play until he is more experienced??

Rebuilding year. No way he should be starting given his lack of practice and physical state, but that's where we are.

It WOULDN'T be a surprise if we weren't hearing "I'm a 100%" out of his mouth, constantly.

You want him to say 85% instead? He seems like a guy who isn't about making excuses.

Try to bag on someone more worthy of bagging on, not a guy coming off a horrific knee injury playing his heart out. The team should have signed someone capable right after Hitchens went down, 54 was supposed to see limited snaps first part of the year.

In fairness, the entire team looked like undersized, small school rookies. I'll give him time. I believe he'll end up being what we all hope he'll be.

I hear ya, Landry. I'm not saying bench the guy, but it's something to keep an eye on. If he's causing that much of a dip in scheme on defense we REALLY need Hitchens back fast.

That makes no sense. So when should we play him and who would take his spot with hitch out 8 weeks? Step away from the ledge.

I get it. I like the kid. Good story. But if it hurts the team, he needs to be out there as little as possible. I understand we're down on LBers but it was bad yesterday.

He hasn't looked great in general but when you consider he's just two games into his pro career after not playing for 20 months while still trying to recover from dropfoot, I'm not sure how people can be over critical.

He's been a liability through two games. Probably needs time on the bench to learn more.

Giants there were some good flashes. Yesterday, he was an undrafted, undersized backer who's never faced a challenge.

Now that you bring up Hitchens, what's the odds he comes back at full speed this year? I really don't know. Would not surprise me in the least if he wasn't up to speed until next year. IF he comes back looking the way he looked in PS, then he will be a Godsend!

Outside of Lawrence, there wasn't a single player on defense that didn't look like crap yesterday. In fact, out of the whole team only Dan Bailey and Ladouceur looked good. This isn't the best game to single-out one individual's performance.

The defenses performance yesterday was reminiscent of when Wades defense quit on him
