Why is it hatred to point out Jerry is hiring assistant coaches. How is that construed as hatred?

Is he or isn't he hiring and/or making decisions on who is going to be on the staff?

I'm sure it all boils down to the fact that deep down inside you are afraid the old Jerry is coming back and you feel compelled to attack anyone who points out Jerrys increased involvement.

Zimmer, Jeffcoat and a couple of others were retained when Parcells was hire after the 1st year the other coaches were replaced except for Zimmer who Parcells want to keep and even went to Zimmer to keep him from taking the HC job at Neb. so this ideal that no coaches should be retained is wrong

He hired Garrett and has retained 2 coaches and we don't even know for sure if the coaches that have been retained will remain on the team or if they will get replaced. I do know Phillips is the one talking with the media about these new coaches and he is the one talking with them. In the past we did not hear from the coach (Campo or Gailey) Jones would answer all questions and took responsibility for the hires. Jones is not doing that this time around so yes I think Jerry has learned from his past mistakes but I'm under no illusions that Jerry will not be involved at all after all he is the GM of this team.

I don't know if it will be a big deal or not that Jerry is being heavily involved in the hiring process of the assistants. These guys may turn out to form a good staff. Personally, I think the HC should be primarily responsible for his own staff, but it's not a requirement.

can you prove for a fact that jones and phillips didn't sit down and jones said "what do you think about dat"? with phillips saying "he'd be a great hire! let's do it!"?
