Who was the HC last night? Phillips and as HC yes I do think he had a say in hiring of Dat. Like you said if you don't believe it that is your right to think what ever you want but I do think you’re reaching to try and slam Jones. I admit Jerry has made big mistakes in the past and I have heard Jerry own up to those mistakes and have seen him change in how things are done. Evidently that is not good enough for you

Your the one making claims that he is doing all the hiring without 1 bit of evidence other than Garrett. Garrett was hired by Jones in large part because of a time restriction in which he would be allowed to talk with Garrett. As of yet we don't know what role Garrett will have. As for the coaches retained Dallas like other teams did retain a couple of coaches. Parcells retained 5 coaches when he hired in at Dallas. So when you say everyone else is making up stuff and Jerry is taking on hiring the staff that is a flat out lie no matter how you cut it.

I say I prefer the new HC to assemble his staff. If he wants to retain certain coaches then it should be his decision. From all accounts, the decision to keep Bowles and Sparano were Jerry's. I've never said keeping them was wrong. I said I didn't want the GM making that call.

So it's totally irrelevant to show where a team fires all it's coaches. That's just a ploy for you to try and cloud the subject.

And yeah, I don't like Jerry being in an increased role based on previous experiences.
