I did. I started to reply then but decided it wasn't worth a response.

Romo is a good QB. I'm not denying that. I would rather have him than some of the other losers in the league. So we agree there. But that doesn't mean that I have to be satisfied. I want Dallas to return to and win the Super Bowl. However, I don't believe he is capable of winning consecutive games against good teams in a playoff atmosphere.

Therefor, I am in favor of the Cowboys looking for an alternate solution to provide a greater winning experience than we have had with Romo.

My romosexuality was really tested today, but I will remain faith. I'm pissed to no end, but he's our guy. Let the bandwagoners jump off now, I'll be waiting for them when we're in the playoffs.

I will always support Romo or whoever takes the snaps for the Cowboys. However, my faith in him is beginning to wane a bit. Tired of seeing the same ole movie.

No faith. What little bit I had, I lost today. Sorry, he's a decent golfer, and worse QB. Now blonde chasing and wearing hats backwards he's a for sure winner.

I've been a strong supporter of his from the beginning. Until now...

The last interception was telling. He threw off his back foot while moving backwards. It tells me he has too much faith in his aim and strength.

Is it just mechanics(don't throw off your back foot, fool!), a gambler mentality(he has said he sees himself as a Favre type player), or just a mental block about success?

I dont recall seeing anyone say anything of the sort.

If a better option presents itself by all means... However, there are 25 other teams in this league that would start Romo over their guy in a heartbeat.

It amazes me how folks have forgotten how depressing the Quincy/Hutch/Henson/Bledsoe era was. I'll take Romo and his every so often turd game over that mess anyday.

The idea isn't to have a qb who is better than quincy carter or chad hutchinson, it's to have one who can take a team with super bowl caliber talent to the next level.

I don't understand why it's an either/or. Why can't one praise Romo for his good play in one game and not criticize him when he has an awful game?

I'm not on the Romo bandwagon. I'm on the COWBOYS bandwagon. I'll ride that bandwagon, regardless what a player does or doesn't do.

To me, it's not about believing in him or not. He's the Cowboys quarterback, and they aren't making a change.

So why get all upset about it? I don't have any power to change it.

I blame Garrett more because he's supposed to protect his quarterback via his play-calling, especially if he has shown a propensity to make bonehead turnovers when we're leading or trying to close out a game.

You call running plays, call safe pass plays, then punt the ball and rely on your defense.

Unless we're going to replace Romo, and we're not, then Garrett has to do a better job of taking the game out of Tony Romo's hands when we get a lead, and a comfortable lead. I mean how many more times do we have to see him choke a game away before we're convinced he needs to be better managed?

I think Garrett did start dialing him back, but not until after the 1st 2 INTs. After that we were running more, and it was noticeble that we would have thrown in the same situation earlier in the game. I know we can complain that Garrett should have dialed Romo back when we had the big lead and before the 1st 2 INT's, but you have to be careful not to disrupt a positive flow and change the momentum with a lot of time left.

We are all criticizing Romo today, thats not even an issue.

Im simply saying I still support and believe in him.

Why does it have to be "cut/trade/murder" him when he has a bad game?

Why does saying I still believe in the player mean Im not supporting the team?

Pro-Romo. He was the biggest reason we were up 27-3 to begin with. He was the biggest reason we won the last 2 games before this one. And he was the biggest reason we were in position to beat the Jets.

Our losses have been on him, but so have our wins. We're 2-2 after 4 games. The story of our 2011 season hasn't been written yet. Not even close. As Parcells would say, you guys can get the hearses ready... but I'm not riding in one yet. :)

IMO, the defense deserves as much credit as Romo does for the team being in the position it was in any game this far.

I have said many times I needed to see Romo do several things to convince me. I have been slow to come around because there is something about him I do not trust.

He needed to lower the turnovers. Did that one year, then reverted. Still waiting.

I needed to see him be a leader. Thought this year would be different. Still waiting.

I needed to see that intangible where he just takes over a game. Still waiting.

But every game like the one today pushes me further and further away from believing in him.

The stats don't matter. It's the things above I am concerned with.

He stumbles again.

There are no excuses. There is none of this, "I'm a believer."

This is the make it or break it year in my opinion. He has a fairly solid defense. The OL is coming and by mid season they will be pretty solid.

With health we have some really great WR's.

It comes down to one position.

Still waiting, Tony.

Dallas will never reach the SB as long as Romo is QB, I doubt they'll win one as long as JJ is CEO, general manager, head-honcho-in-charge, president, or whatever he calls himself.

The Cowboys will NEVER when a SuperBowl with Tony OHNO at QB. He has proven that over and over again. Until this team gets a real offensive coordinator and a Good QB not a "stats" QB this team will never win anything. A poster earlier said it best it's gonna take 3-4 wins in a row to win the SuperBowl, and the question is can OHNO do that? and the answer is painfully obvious NOPE. Now people can blindly back the guy all day, but at the end of Sunday look where we are? a 24 point blown lead a 17 point blown lead. In the 9er game before he got hurt he looked terrible. This is what you get with Tony OHNO.

In today's NFL Rookie QB'S can come in and compete. So I don't see what the problem is with drafting a blue chip QB in the draft this year. It is going to be loaded with QB's.

It isn't you that it was directed at. I found the posts, and I will not call out the posters by name, but basically, they were saying they will back Romo until the end, good or bad. I'm sorry, but I will not continue to back a player that is detrimental to the teams success. I still back Romo now because he still gives us our best chance of success. But I still believe those chances can be even better, and if an opportunity presents itself to get better, then its "see ya, Romo" for me.

What makes it worse is we aren't even going to seriously look for a better replacement. We'll just probably waste 3-4 more years with Romo continually throwing games away while teasing half the fanbase or more into thinking this will finally be the year he puts it altogether.

Sorry to burst the bubble but it's not gonna happen with him, especially with not much of a running game to balance things out. That is if Garrett were even inclined to balance things out.
