I'm sure this is not what Quincy Carter had in mind 8 years ago

Quincy had both Andre Gurode and Flozell ADams as well as Larry Allen. Not sure how that equates to his line sucking.

Some fans always think a given player they dislike is worse than he really is. Big damned deal.

dang dude who said it was a big deal. I mean do you just try to live up to your name with every post and be argumentative every post. You totally ignored the fact that I know that we are better off with Romo.

The most extreme of the Q supporters Hate the ground that Romo walks on. They see Romo as the reason Q isnt a member of the Cowboys anymore. Which besides the fact that Q wasnt very good, IS pretty much true. Romo did IN FACT take his spot. That was evident to mostwho werent living in denial. The HATERS!.....:D
Why do we allow 12 year olds to post on adult sites?

I was warned not to go into detail about how Quincy was treated, so I will restrain myself. In case you didn't know this, Romo took Bledsoe's job.

IMHO, you should stop posting ASAP.

These things above do not show "hate" for any of the QBs since Q was waived. Why was it hate when he couldn't get the job done?

Like I said, nonsense.
Who got the Job done when he was the starting QB on a play off team?

This was my point about fans not caring about the bottom line anymore. The guy takes us to a stinking play off victory with an average team, and fans could do nothing but trash the guy.

We as fans don't really deserve a SB anymore honestly. Until we start caring about "on the field play" instead of what a person says, if a person is driving a lexus or rapping in a video, then we are a sad and lonely franchise that the entire football world is laughing at.

I also have a question to you since people around here really listen to you maybe you can answer this one for me.

Why is it that when you say "quincy can't or couldn't get the job done" people don't say a word to you, they'd almost consider throwing you a party for saying it.

I say Romo can't get the job done, people want me dropped off a building.

Romo has not gotten the job done 'FACT' Quincy did not get the job done 'FACT'.

I didn't ignore it. I just don't agree with your post and when I have what I feel is more compelling evidence I present it. Why does everyone ask me that about my username when I dare to disagree with them.

How dare me.

We won a playoff game with Quincy at QB?

That is news to me. Who did we beat and in what year was it?

I have been laboring under the impression that our last Playoff victory happened after the 1997 season in the Wildcard round against the Vikings. Since Quincy wasn't Drafted until 2001, a Playoff victory in between then and now seems impossible unless the space time continuum has been breached.

By all means, set me straight on this playoff victory Q led us to. As a self proclaimed Cowboys Historian I am curious how I missed this victory.

Speak for yourself. On that I would agree. You have gone from a valuable poster to a joke in record time.

Because I am right.

I say Romo can't get the job done, people want me dropped off a building.
Because of how you are acting lately. You're pouring all the respect people have had for you down the drain.

Romo has not gotten the job done 'FACT' Quincy did not get the job done 'FACT'.
Romo's time isn't over, FACT. Quincy's time is over, FACT.

When a palyer's time is not over, a statement of definite outcome is likely to be laughed at. At one time Peyton Manning could not win a post season game. Fans who leap to such conclusions too soon are mocked. Sorry to be so blunt.

So I'm a joke because I don't follow your beliefs? I'm a joke because I refuse to believe in a guy who screws up on the field, yet we look to blame other players and not the player screwing up?

And BTW, being respected on a message board will not extend my life, pay my bills, give me happiness, maybe it will for you, sorry to be so blunt.

Also, let me add a coupld more things since you felt the need to blast me when I asked a simple question.

I made a mistake typing too fast when I said he took us to a play off victory, I mean he took us to the play offs, so if you want to ponder on that sentence for half of your post, have fun.

Also, Romo's time isn't over, but it should be very soon if he continues to have Quincy Carter type "success".

if EVERYONE (your words) ask you about your user name when you disagree, maybe its the way you disagree. Your post came across as so argumentative, when I agreed with you on much of my post that i though you were shock posting or just using shtick to live by your username.

No, being so dense as to grab an agenda so hard that you make up fictional crap like the Cowboys winning a playoff game during the Quincy tenure is what makes you the joke. You can't see the truth right in front of your eyes.

Haven't you noticed how many people are asking how long you're going to keep this crap up? I didn't put them up to it. They do it on their own. One poster even said that you "grind his gears." Others have PMed me asking if you are okay or are losing it completely. I don't know.

That is becoming a joke.

I post the same with everyone and if they need to focus on the username instead of the point there's not a thing in the world I can do about it. I have posted this same way since I first joined. Others go for in your face insults. I simply try to illustrate the flaws in the theories. If my username was White Buffalo it would be the same, but no one would worry about my username.

Tony Romo (Career Stats):

39 starts (27-12 record)

Schooled again Judas, seems you would get tired of this after a while. :laugh2:

Think about the joke for a minute, Hos-- this "expert" is rabidly defending Quincy Freakin' Carter, while rabidly attacking Romo...

Romo on his worst day is twice the quarterback Quincy was on his best, and if Judas/Clove can't even figure THAT out, then nobody should take anything he has to say on the subject of football seriously, ever again...

I didn't blast you. I blasted a silly notion. There's a huge difference. You can hang onto the silly Romo's time is almost up stuff, and the Quincy has almost accomplished as much with less nonsense if you wish. It doesn't fly. It'll never fly. And tossing it in the air isn't going to get it airborn.

No need for you to defend yourself against this line of attack, I perceive you as being uncommonly tolerant of even the craziest of viewpoints in here, and I'll bet the vast majority of the board agrees with me... sometimes, I wish you weren't quite so tolerant, that you'd be a little quicker to drop the ban hammer, but at the same time, I respect your restraint...

I always figured your chosen nom de plume was a deliberate joke, the way a guy who's 6-8 might call himself "Shorty"... you are consistently one of the LEAST hostile posters in here... I keep on hoping I can corrupt you a little, but I'm startin' to think it's a futile effort... :D

I didn't think he was attacking me. It's just kind of like that bad line in the Patrick Swayze movie "Roadhouse." Everyone always says, "I think I'm looking at a dead man." He replies, "why does everyone always have that same joke?"

..................Thats NOT what I meant and you know it. Here, let me explain it ONE MORE TIME so even you can understand...........We just signed Vinny, Vinny was a longtime BP guy, so he wasnt going anywhere.. We just traded for Henson, traded draft picks to Houston , so he wasnt going anywhere. That left TWO QB's fighting for one spot on the team. Quincy Carter and Tony Romo. Romo is here, RIGHT NOW, will be for a long time to come. Carter was shown the door, THROWN out of training camp in his pajama's, So YES.........ROMO DID TAKE HIS SPOT. Yet another Q fan living in denial just like that nitwit they worshipped while he was throwing ducks in Dallas.
