Its this simple and anybody that thinks otherwise is just a Dak homer and shouldnt be taken seriously

LOL "Anyone who doesnt share my opinion shouldnt be taken seriously"..lol right, literally CD should have cut this route in front of the saftey, And Dak should've probably checked it down in that exact situation...but less not forget you wouldve been here to remind us he checked it down instead of going to CD as a bad desicion..because thats what you do and you want people to take you seriously.

And maybe the safety gets there at the same time and the collision makes the ball pop up and another defender still intercepts it.

Yes, Lamb didn't run a great route. But no, Dak didn't make the smartest decision there. You Dak guys are literally incapable of just admitting he may have made a mistake.

Why would anybody call it a mistake when it wasn't, as insaid there's a former qb and wr that has been highly critical of Dak in the past SAYING THE SAME D*** THING. Fak did what he was supposed to do.

It's also not about admitting Dak making mistakes because I've done it in the past, it's about responding to the bs that was being slung on that play.

Both safeties were right there, and #4 read the play the entire way. Odds of a catch were almost 0, odds of lamb getting yards after the catch was 0. Not saying Lamb shouldn't have ran a better route and it ends up as a harmless incompletion, but this was not a good decision to make the throw to begin with.

That throw reminds me of the throw dak did into triple coverage against the Lions where the commentator said it should've been picked off. People here have said Dak doesn't trust his arm. Those two throws proves that he does. Lamb choked on both throws, IMO. The throw against the Lions Lamb knew that safety was zeroing in on the throw and grew what they call, alligator arms. All Lamb had to do was extend his arms and that's a catch and he probably gets lit up. If Dak and other QBs have to stand in the pocket while 300 pound monsters are breathing down his neck, Lamb should do the same against 220 pound safeties. That's what they get paid to do. I think on this play all Lamb had to do was turn into the 40 yard line to make that catch. He either catches it and gets drilled from behind by the safety or the gets a pass interference for the safety hitting him too early. That's what I see. But I'm no professional expert on route running but I can see why Moose said it was on Lamb. Both of those throws were risky, Pimp, no doubt. But this proves Dak has his confidence back.

BULLsnot
first off watch the tape above watches it in full screen full speed and Lamb pulled a Patrick Crayton he slowed up for second as if he gave up and then saw dak throw it it was too late safety beat him there. Dude flat hesitated on his route. howes dak supposed to know his player wouldnt run though his routes, watch him slow up

it OBVIOUS..

zero chance in the NFL dudes catch passes a lot in crazy tight coverages get mossed up etc etc can't catch it if a qb see you break lets it go you let up..that hesitation is why the safety got there first. Daks continually blamed for waiting too long to let ball go waiting on an actually open WR instead of throwing to a spot., he finally does and now the wr get excuses for not running though his route and running falter less drifty route..

please fix the 0 on your board its broke it like the word never and always. Let ir rest that snot true at all.
I'm not forgiving Lamb at all. It was a poor route and once again he shows a complete lack of willingness to fight for the football. Still why would you throw a pass directly at a S reading you all the way. It was a poor decision that ends up incomplete even if Lamb plays it perfectly. If lamb runs a better route do we get an INT? I doubt it, but i see zero chance of avoiding a collision between Lamb and the DB there.

Basically what I'm saying is Dak should not be throwing passes that require his WR to make an insane play on the football up multiple scores about to go in at the half. More bad from good happens in that scenario. If we are down 10 points in the 4th quarter I'm all for Dak trying to force a pass like that. Given that situation though it was a bad time given the risk/reward.

Had a few people argue with me that the Int was on Dak. When it was on Lamb. I explained Dak was throwing that ball to a spot where Lamb was supposed to be( a timing route) it was a doggone good throw.
We've seen this from Lamb a couple times this year and also heard Jerry talk about wr needing to be in the right places last season. At the 17:25 mark IS breaks down the Int play

Dak could have thrown it low and let Lamb dig it out of the dirt. The Bears had been playing single high for most of the day. And Dak should have known that was a dangerous throw. But at the same time Lamb could have made more of an effort to catch the ball.

The QB stared down the receiver the entire time

Even if Ceedee “cut in front of the safety”, his QB is leading him out to get killed, just like he does every game

The pass shouldnt have been thrown, period. Crying about my posts doesnt change that fact, sorry.

It was on dak. He didn’t see the safety was there. Should not have made the throw.

Why can't we just execute the play? Why can't everyone just do their job? When it comes time to get paid Lamb ain't giving no discounts.

That's another thing Isahiah said about the Lions game. Also, Fak was asked again about the lions game throws and he flat out said then too that the throws were where they should've been.

What are you talking about?

He literally said in a press-conference he needs to hit Dez in the facemask so he would catch the ball

Okay you got me. That one time where he did call out a player for having a complete meltdown and causing us to miss the playoffs. I think the whole Cowboy nation was upset at Dez for that meltdown against Seattle. As I said before Michael Irvin and Dez are my #1 and #2 all time favorites, even I was upset at him. I think that's the game that Jerry, even though he and Dez are tight, finally decided then and there not to extend him once that time comes up.

Too late to edit my comment but you're right. Dak did call out a teammate. That's probably why he and Dak are not friends.

A thin receiver like Lamb is not going to keep taking those big hits over the middle. That's why I like big bodied guys like The Playmaker and Dez. You have thin or short WR on your team then the QB needs to learn to put the ball in the dirt. If the coaches aren't instilling that into Dak, then it's their problem.

I think it fit how they were playing in the first half, they were trying to smother the bear. They were going for more points. Was it aggressive? Maybe
And if they want to play aggressive all game like that then fine. Personally, I don't think that is the way this team needs to operate though. Every time this offense gets too aggressive and Dak starts slinging it bad things happen. I don't mean that to be critical of Dak either, it's true of most QBs. Dak ended the day 21/27 for 250. He was about as efficient as you can be. I just dont see the need for the high risk throws there. Dak was in complete control up to that point and absolutely killing them in the 10-15 yard throws.

If you are instructing Dak to keep his foot on the peddle though I can see where you are coming from.

No doubt Lamb did not run that right, and again it should not have been an INT, but the ones saying in that exact situation maybe check it down have a point. I get the circle jerk that goes around on this forum with a few that just want Daks head, and it gets old, AND NO DOUBT if he had chekced it down those same few would be here calling him names for it..so i get it. I also asked this in a thread the other day, im not worried about 100 yard games for CD to be condiered a #1, I want to know that in crunch time does this team feel confident in telling him "We are going to you this play no matter what" and when he does this kinda stuff it makes me doubt it.

You thought Jason Garrett was a good coach

Your commentary on anything football means less than nothing to me

My commentary lines up with a former qb and former wr on this . NICK Saban also called Garrett a good coach. I guess his commentary on football doesn't matter...lol

Then he's not a 1?
