Is Dak gonna be signed this week?

It's the 2nd biggest problem with the Cowboys.

In a QB driven league, if you have one that has proven he can't win more than one playoff game a year, yeah that is a huge problem.
There’s QBs that haven’t won a single playoff game. We have one that beat Tom Brady in a playoff game on the road. We have a QB that beat Russell Wilson in a playoff game when he was still a great QB. Our QB isn’t the problem. If he was a problem, he wouldn’t be looking at making $60 million per season. He would have been dumped a long time ago if he was a problem.

The team hasn’t won a Super Bowl in almost 30 years. It’s been that long since our defense was good enough to win a Super Bowl. It took a couple of game changing plays on defense to win our last Super Bowl. Dak still has time to win a Super Bowl but we don’t have a good enough team around him. No QB is going to win a Super Bowl with this team. QB isn’t the problem.
Bold> lmao...so the Cowboys should go ahead and pay Prescott all that money for nothing? Is that your stance, KJJ?

Can't you see how ridiculous that is? You contradict yourself and don't even know it.

A huge problem is when you have a QB that can’t lead you to the playoffs. There’s starting QBs in the league that don’t have a playoff win.

So in 8 years he has beaten one team in the playoffs with a winning record.

$60M+ per year??? Someone please put the cookoo back in the clock.

There is no justification for that kind of contract.

I agree that Dak isn't the problem, but the fact that he is about to make $60M+ is a problem for this team that is thin on offensive skill players and questions along the Oline.

He’s won a couple of playoff games against Tom Brady and Russell Wilson who’ve won Super Bowls. Records don’t matter in the playoffs. There’s no justification for the money a lot of QBs are making these days. There’s certainly no justification for Trevor Lawrence making $55 million per season. What the heck has he done? This is the state of the NFL and we have to deal with it or you’ll have nothing at QB.

If Dak had a defense like the Niners, Chiefs, or Ravens his playoff record would be 6-5 or something, and would've beaten the Packers twice and the Rams.

We’ll be a lot thinner on offensive skill players without him. We’ll struggle to maximize CeeDee’s $32+ million per season contract with a lesser QB. The money all teams are paying for QB’s is a problem.

Green Bay may have to make Jordan Love the highest paid QB in the league and he’s only played one season. They waited too long to play him, now they have to make a decision. Everyone is getting taken to the cleaners paying their starting QB. If everyone thought it was possible to win a Super Bowl with an average low priced QB, everyone would be going that route and not paying these high QB salaries. You have knuckleheads here who think you can just throw any QB out there and bingo!

Packers....31 points. You think Dak lost the game???

Next week I think we lose to the red hot Falcons tho.

Rams...22 points. Historically that's more than enough to win in the playoffs. Brady, Manning, and Elway have all won multiple times doing less. Next week we lose to the Saints tho with their defense.

Packers... defense was garbage from start to end. Offense would've done enough in the 2nd half to get past them, beat the Lions and then lose to the Niners.

6-5

What a silly silly thesis brought on by pure puppy love for a QB

Your forgot to figure in all the 1st quarter interceptions he would throw and the far away deer in a headlight looks he would give.

Maybe but maybe not....Tyreek Hill downgraded at QB but still led the league in receiving last year. Mike Evans broke 1200 yards with Baker Mayfield, Amari Cooper broke 1250 with most of his balls coming from Flacco and Thompson-Robinson. DJ Moore put up 1300 yards with a now backup QB. Jamaar Chase did it with mostly snap from a back up QB. Davante Adam, Micheal Pittman, George Pickens, DeAndre Hopkins, Chris Olave, DK Metcalf, Garrett Wilson, Chris Godwin, Adam Theiland, Terry McLaurin all put up over 1000 yards last year with lesser QBs than Dak, some of those really bad QBs.

I agree that he probably wont go 135/1700/12 without Dak, but if the Cowboys would invest in the run game and a legitimate number 2 receiver who could play the X when Lamb moves to the slot you don't need that type of production out of him. These are the things I just don't see the Cowboys doing in the next couple of year if they pay all all three of Dak, Lamb, and Parsons.
