True he did/is doing the time as prescribed by the judicial system. However, his crimes carry with it a societal indignation that he will be burdened with for a very long time.

Not from all people will he carry a societal indignation, only some. But you're correct about him serving the time given to him. He did that.... Many have foregave and moved on and them's the breaks too....
