Exactly, but Garrett never went 12-5 three years in a row. Garrett didn't get the nickname 8 & 8 for nothing.Everyone said basically the same thing about Garrett.

As long as we continue to fail in the playoffs the regular season records aren’t going to matter to the fans. Garrett won more playoff games with the Cowboys than McCarthy.Exactly, but Garrett never went 12-5 three years in a row. Garrett didn't get the nickname 8 & 8 for nothing.
But it took Garrett 10 years to do it. McCarthy's only been here for 4. And 3 of those 4 years he went 12-5.As long as we continue to fail in the playoffs the regular season records aren’t going to matter to the fans. Garrett won more playoff games with the Cowboys than McCarthy.
I guess you never were a boss or business owner, If a employee sucks or isn’t good at their job you do tell them if you don’t shame on you for putting up with sub par employees and it will not be a problem getting a replacement. Why would they say that. That is ridiculous. If players heard that, why should they try to improve.
All teams, all coaches say this type of stuff, it is not just Dallas.
Would you want your boss, tell you ... hey you suck at your job, I wish I would have hired someone else....
And if you are a boss, and have that attitude, no one would want to work for you.
How about it is too early to say!!Exactly, what did they expect him to say? Duh!
If you want to keep getting paychecks you don't say something stupid.
I guess you don’t realize that EVERY business is different.I guess you never were a boss or business owner, If a employee sucks or isn’t good at their job you do tell them if you don’t shame on you for putting up with sub par employees and it will not be a problem getting a replacement.
There ya go. Ultimately when a coach has to deal with a player or players concerning performance issues, he deals with the player one on one. It would be very stupid and very counter productive to run to the sports writers and bad mouth his player or players to the press and / or TV cameras. How about it is too early to say!!
We have a lot to do before we evaluate new players at all.
ALL businesses have the same objective, make a profit, doesn’t matter what it is, poor employees are bad for business and destroy work force morale, can tell you never ran one or managed one or you would already know this.I guess you don’t realize that EVERY business is different.
Garrett was the HC for 9 full seasons. The team was a wreck when he became the interim HC in 2010. We were in the process of rebuilding the OL, which became the best in the entire league under Garrett. We had a 12 win season and tied a franchise record with 13 wins in 2016 despite having a rookie QB. We won a couple of playoff games and showed some fight in our playoff losses. Not once did we lay an egg in the playoffs. We were in every game. So far McCarthy has been a failure. We lead the league in penalties practically every season and despite winning 12 games in each of our last three seasons we look uninspired in the playoffs andBut it took Garrett 10 years to do it. McCarthy's only been here for 4. And 3 of those 4 years he went 12-5.
Especially starting threads just to whine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!What is getting old and pitiful is the constant whining and complaining. And all the repeated stuff over and over.
Yes, I was both a boss at my job and I also owned a business separately from that job. I have hired and fired people.I guess you never were a boss or business owner, If a employee sucks or isn’t good at their job you do tell them if you don’t shame on you for putting up with sub par employees and it will not be a problem getting a replacement.
Running a team as a business, is fardiffelent than any other business. And coaching players has nothing to do with that.ALL businesses have the same objective, make a profit, doesn’t matter what it is, poor employees are bad for business and destroy work force morale, can tell you never ran one or managed one or you would already know this.
a business is a business. You turn out a product to make a profit. The Cowboys do that every year easily.Running a team as a business, is fardiffelent than any other business. And coaching players has nothing to do with that.
Have you ran a business? You are telling others it is obvious they have not. I have owned my own business.
