It's almost over

I have zero interest in this franchise, except to watch it fall and see how big the fallout will be.
Corruption reigns throughout the NFL and with the Cowboys falling it will have a domino effect on the league.
So really I am watching to see how far the league will go to stabilize the franchise. Much like the games vs the Detroit Lions of the past two years and vs the Texans from Lovie Smith's final season- and a couple of others- it became pretty clear that the NFL was willing to intervene to keep the Cowboys relevant.
And that's when the Anti-trust lawsuits begin.
Corruption, LMAO

Part-time football fans, they were never invested anyways.

I've never met a long time fan of any team just leave the team. The Cowboys are tattooed in my heart bro. These EZ Bake microwave, minute rice fans were never real fans. They were casuals.

Look at those die hard fans for the Browns, Lions, Jets, Vikings, etc. When's the last time they won a Superbowl? They STILL had core fans that NEVER left. A friend of mine that I used to play ball with is a DIE HARD Browns fan.

He got mad and angry at his team's lack of success, he NEVER saw them in a Superbowl, NEVER got a chance to rock his favorite team's championship hat or shirt..... but he's STILL a die hard fan and he's 52 years old.

If the Cowboys never win a superbowl in the rest of my lifetime, I will still ride for my team. I can just thank the Most High that I was blessed to have experienced the joy of seeing my Dallas Cowboys win multiple championships in my lifetime.

There are fans of the Browns, and a few other teams that are old as **** and have never seen their team win ANY Superbowl era trophies.... but they're still there.

That's what a real fan is right there, in my opinion.

I never said I was leaving.
I stay here and speak my peace when I feel the need.
Get over it.
You really should try to be a man instead of waffling on every issue to try and fit in.
You don't have an opinion; you simply take whichever side allows you to bash others.
oh come on now. the internet never forgets. you keep talking about being dissatisfied and dissatisfied fans and they are going to drop off and that you are not following " your cowboys" anymore, blah blah blah blah... I know drunk people have no memory.

and all you do is complain. you never post anything about any other topic except Dak. prior to Dak it was Garrett, prior to that Barber and Prior to that was player X. that's your schtick. if you don't have anyone to hate you never post.that much is proven and you can't even argue that. everyone knows.

you have never ever posted anything that's actually football related. actual football, on the field stuff. at least your other half Khiladi tries. I give him credit for that. with you, its all this TMZ, self created drama stuff and pat yourself on the back feeling grand!!! in the meantime you are butt of jokes in this forum. same as your other cohort MountaineerCowboy....you all should actually start an NFL TMZ channel on youtube, because you are both so good at it. let me help you with the first topic....... Dak....

and who is waffling. show me one post I waffled. My stand is very clear. everyone on this forum knows. I am always actual football related, not self created middle school girl drama related as you tend to do. at some point you have to become a man and take off the tutu.
and therefore that's why you have a really tough time with it. its just so far above your level of understanding....but nice try to spin something stupid, but don't pat yourself on the back yet.

and everyone on this forum knows, you are nothing but a clown. you are a joke. you are to be ignored once camp starts. you disappear when cowboys win. only to rear your head like an earth worm in the rain when cowboys lose.
I love dragging you around. its fun just tweaking you and getting you to respond, because I don't have to make you look stupid. you do a fine job all by yourself. its all too easy. all I have to do is make you respond....just watch

I’m 70, I’ve been a fan of this team. When they said they couldn’t win the big one. Then the ice bowl, what a game and then came on military years how could I not love , Mr. cowboy, the star represented . These people don’t have a clue what it means to be loyal to anything. Maybe it’s not their fault but it’s a shame.

good for you my friend. that's a big milestone, hope you had an awsome celebration. here is to you celebrating the 80th. :yourock:

It’s a VERY vocal minority, and a good reminder that online is not real life. Most fans aren’t as dug in as to post on a message board (which are kinda dated in abd of itself).
Just a bunch of bums if you ask me :)

But during the 60's the Cowboys were moving up; climbing to the top and beating quality opponents. Their two losses to Green Bay were both in the final seconds. It wasn't like this group.
And a lot of these players are very talented. There have been some talented rosters wasted by weak links- players and a head coach that were/are not NFL caliber that sunk the team's hopes each year.
It is Jerry's insistence on hiring his pet cats that has continually sabotaged the team.
First it was Marion Barber Jr, the drive killer. At the same time he kicked fans in the teeth and put Jason Garrett in charge, leaving the team leaderless at the head coach position.
Before Garrett was finally let go, he instilled Dak Prescott at quarterback, ensuring that his legacy of excuses and working the media with soundbites lived on. Dak Prescott IS Garrett 2.0.
Jerry’s arrogance and stupidity in hiring and overpaying inept players and coaches have cost the Cowboys and their fans at least three more rings.

I’m not even excited about this team these days. Can’t believe after being a fan my entire life I’ve found myself here. Bum ownership, weird HC, an overrated QB, and a franchise that sucks at contracts it’s just meh for me.

I kinda checked out last season. I honestly don’t have much interest this year. I’m here out of habit.

Every year the usual suspects come in here to complain how much they don’t care anymore. Yet they seem really upset when the Cowboys lose, sooooo…..
They are passing the time same as you.

We aint exactly settin the world on fire here...none of us.

Rooting against jerry and laughing at him and his drunk son’s loop of mistakes is the only way to deal with the pain.

No. We are to judge the value, worth, and humanity of people based on what they say on a sports forum.

Longtime fans like myself are losing interest, and even those in football who were once associated with the great Cowboys teams of the past are slowly disappearing.
Fans who were old enough to enjoy the success of the early nineties are also getting older.
But the fanbase of children who have never known how good this Cowboys franchise once was is Jerry's legacy. And it will not be as strong as the fans that made this "America's Team".
Most of us older fans are fed up. We KNOW how bad it has gotten because we witnessed the teams that made this franchise great.
Jerry's circus hype is not selling anymore. His arrogance in kicking the fans in the teeth as he insisted on shoving incompetence in players and coaches down the throats of the very fans that made this franchise the most loved franchise in sports is finally catching up with him.
That $260 million abomination of a contract he slipped to his latest pet player and that he tried to pass off with the hoopla from last years opening day is the poison pill that finished off most long-time fans.
I don't think these Cowboys will enjoy the fan support this season that they have in the past.
The charade is almost over.
Plus the fact he didn’t give the coach who kept DFW fast food joints open das boot after the humongously humiliating and humbling playoff beatdown to the Packers ………

I can’t wait to read Jerry’s obituary.
