but eagles won it without having pedigree at the position. SF went toe to toe with Mahomes without having pedigree.Unfortunately for you the Skins now have a QB! An elite one with pedigree. Like you I have loved the Cowboys but it's like a bad marriage and you should just get out. There is no future until they get pedigree at the most important position on the team.

Yeah that’s a bit much.Me neither. Openly wishing for someone to die? That’s about as low as one can go and I see it here daily.
I totally agree. I tell everyone...I can't speak for anyone else, but im going to ride with the Dallas Cowboys until the last scoop of dirt. I've been watching and supporting them since the late 70's and will continue to do so.
With all of this said, I will NEVERRRR abandon my beloved Dallas Cowboys no matter what happens.
Real fans take the good with the bad. If you can’t feel good about the Cowboys when they’re not dominating the NFL you were never a fan.Longtime fans like myself are losing interest, and even those in football who were once associated with the great Cowboys teams of the past are slowly disappearing.
Fans who were old enough to enjoy the success of the early nineties are also getting older.
But the fanbase of children who have never known how good this Cowboys franchise once was is Jerry's legacy. And it will not be as strong as the fans that made this "America's Team".
Most of us older fans are fed up. We KNOW how bad it has gotten because we witnessed the teams that made this franchise great.
Jerry's circus hype is not selling anymore. His arrogance in kicking the fans in the teeth as he insisted on shoving incompetence in players and coaches down the throats of the very fans that made this franchise the most loved franchise in sports is finally catching up with him.
That $260 million abomination of a contract he slipped to his latest pet player and that he tried to pass off with the hoopla from last years opening day is the poison pill that finished off most long-time fans.
I don't think these Cowboys will enjoy the fan support this season that they have in the past.
The charade is almost over.
"when there not dominating"....working on two generations of it.Real fans take the good with the bad. If you can’t feel good about the Cowboys when they’re not dominating the NFL you were never a fan.
I have zero interest in this franchise, except to watch it fall and see how big the fallout will be.
A lot of fans uner 40 are becoming apathetic and looking for other avenues/teams, I know I have 4 kids under 40 and several other relatives & friends in the same boat, some have even become Patriot and Chief fans. The Cowboys are a brand now, these fans would have loved to experience what we did in the 60s through 90s but there not getting it....I think us old fogies are just frustrated they cant even experience a SB appearence.I think fans like you give yourselves too much credit. There’s a portion of this fanbase that doesn’t think like you(hard to process I know…)…..
You underestimate how many fans of this team are under 40….who all they know is heartbreak and misery.
I’m not saying no fans haven’t moved on. To Jerrys credit he's rode on that wave of the great Cowboy history for the last 30 years in merchadising.....almost like the Raiders.......I guess now a days thats gonna have to be enough for these youn fans.....relevant until the Cowboys aren't anymore.
“You may glory in a team triumphant, but you fall in love with a team in defeat.”——Roger Kahn"when there not dominating"....working on two generations of it.
Don't get me wrong...still fan...I come back regardless of the abuse. I'm almost like Jerry....eternal double down just waiting for something to work.

If you want to twist attendance stats as proof than all is well in Jerry Land...go ahead.and yet there are teams in the NFL that despite the smaller stadium, don't sell out...hmmmm then there is that!
Attendance is no indicator. The PSLs pretty much guarantee the tickets are bought from the team. Then plenty of work to probably just about break even on resale….that is, for the average fan that doesn’t have them to give to clients, etc.If you want to twist attendance stats as proof than all is well in Jerry Land...go ahead.
Never mind that the majority of teams sell out...including teams like the Cardinals. The mighty Carolina Panthers have sold out every game since 2002.
So, let me rephrase: the interest in the Cowboys appears every bit as strong as the rabid interest in the Cardinals and Panthers, despite the fact that the Cowboys are the only o e of those 3 juggernauts not to go to a conference championship game or superbowl this century. But hey, Jerry built more seats than those teams, so it looks like we win again, especially considering 4 or 5 teams in the 32 team league don't regularly sell out.
Bye, you all don't let the door hit you in the butt. It'll be so much nicer around here without all the drama and complaining.Longtime fans like myself are losing interest, and even those in football who were once associated with the great Cowboys teams of the past are slowly disappearing.

I hope he chugs it when it's piping hotKnock knock.
Who's there?
It's long past.
It's long past who?
It's long past you finally wake up and smell the coffee.
I agree 100% and I'm one of the older fans whose first Cowboy game on TV was Super Bowl V. Once we fail to reach the NFC Championship game again this season, we will officially hit the 30 year mark of Jerry's gross incompetence when it comes to winning when it really matters. My only hope is the Jones family sell or the franchise is taken away which is very far fetched. It never had to be this way as some owners learn their lesson and stop meddling with football decisions best left for football experts, not our part-time drunk "GM".Longtime fans like myself are losing interest, and even those in football who were once associated with the great Cowboys teams of the past are slowly disappearing.
