It's time for Jerry's son to open up the books and spend money in fa!

Yeah, craps table in Vegas during Super Bowl weekend isn’t the same as craps table in Vegas when you can afford to play lol

Not to mention, the only thing he said was Jerry runs the show. And you are acting like it’s some crazy story
Meanwhile 3 am back at the suite ; “we told some fool we were Jerry Jones attorneys and he believed us”. “Hahaha What time r the hookers coming boys”

I'll believe it when I see it. The Cowboys have been burned a few times, so they're timid with FA acquisitions, but they've been burned just as much by 2nd round picks.

They can make space, but they need to get Daks deal done in order to do so. That aside, I have no expectations of an actual "all in" approach.

Jerry isn't letting go of Dak.
So convert deadcap into a signing bonus, then spread that over the life of a new 150-200 million contract?

Pass.

Our cap is already jacked up enough.

Jerry claims that the team is "All In" this season, that they will be making moves for the now and less about the future. They cannot go into another season with just another draft class and aspect better results. They have real weakness within this roster that have to be upgraded. Stephen's strategy of draft/develop, sign low level stop gap veterans isn't working. Time to open up the books as they can easily create 20-30 million to spend on the open market. Some areas to address in fa:

-Defensive Tackle/Middle Linebacker/Running Back

In the draft you could double up at all these positions and still address OL.
100% No excuses if Dak gets extended.

You can make whatever arguments you want, and I'm not reinventing the wheel by telling you this, but Jerry doesn't care. He's re-signing his qb.

I think we've had a few "no excuses" seasons already brother.
A billion dollars in merchandising and the Joneses are too cheap to pay for free agents. Then have the nerve to blame the players.

They can easily create more cap space, especially when they are expected to give Dak an extension.
Some don't/won't understand cap maneuver - maybe they look at a Spotrac link and think it will always be dead set in stone.

Contract extensions can create new space, .. the NFL team cap goes up every year ... and current contracts can be
re-did to make room for more cap space.

Yes, and all 32 franchises “manage” the cap. The Cowboys will manage the cap. The concern is do they have a plan. Do they know what they want to do. Top free agents will have more than one suitor. Jerry will be competing with other teams that created cap space to get players that can improve the team. Just because you have cap space does not mean you know how to use it.

If you extend Dak, you have cap money to sign FA's but you probably won't win because you have Dak. If you don't extend Dak you probably won't win because you can't bring in any FA's...but only for a year instead of several.

I beg the FO to not extend Dak.

Time to face reality, they'll add a handful of cheap reclamation projects and washed up vets and the Kool-Aid drinkers will bow before Jerry and thank him for it.

When was the last time GM Jerry made a quality big time free agency signing?
