I dont think that's it. I think it's just the fact that you can never believe anything injury related when it comes to the cowboys.

What are you talking about?

Last year the Cowboys said that Mo was doing well in rehab. We certainly heard your take to not believe it. It turned out to be true and he had his best season.

In 2015, Dez's broken foot was reported to be having complications. There we did not hear the call to be skeptical when it was bad news. It turned out to be true as he returned early and struggled mightily.

In 2014, Anthony Spencer was said to do be doing well from his microfracture and would play the next season. We heard your take then to not believe it. It turned out to be true.

In 2013, the club started saying that Ratliff was playing possum when he exploded on Jerry Jones in the lockerroom. It turned out to be true when he quickly 'mended' to finish the season with the Bears.

In 2012, church injured his achilles and we were told that he was doing well. We again heard your call for skepticism in the face of good news. He came back running better and cemented a starting role.

What I see is if the club is honest about anything it is about the medical. They will be coy and evasive as a matter of course but they do not deceive.

Now if you want to take everything that Jerry says with a grain of salt I don't blame you. He will lie and mislead on certain topics.

OTOH, Jason and Stephen don't do that. Garrett hides behind canned phrases that mean nothing. Stephen will straight up tell you he will not discuss certain issues. Apparently Will McClay will be like Popovich and make you feel stupid for asking questions he doesn't want to answer from hearing Helman talk about it.

There been tons of times for years they're never ready to play when they say they will.

Tapper and dlaw last year for example

Tapper and dlaw last year for example

Tapper has a back issue discovered in TC and then had a setback in early September landing on the IR. His injury was weird.

DLaw was suspended and then hurt his back in the season. Garrett who is the liaison with such things did not say DLaw will be ready on such and such date.

The way Redball handles it is to address whether or not they will practice that week either saying they are out or the ambiguous day to day. If anything they downgrade availability on the injury report.

This is also handled differently in the offseason which we are now in.

I'm sorry. I don't think you're right. If he's healthy he transforms the entire D.

Healthy he's a generational type player

I hope smith can play this year also. think how good mcclain was in the middle for the half of season that he played in 2014 and smith will be better then mcclain was. I watched his last two years in college the the kid was everywhere on the field and could not be stopped.

Oddly many on here seem not to be. Or whatever they call it when they're angered by good news and fans reactions to it.
I love this point some guy always makes on sports forums. (sarcasm)

If you don't have a positive opinion about every single player on your team or every move your team makes, I guess it means you're rooting against your team.

You can spin it anyway you want. You can't be be serious that Dallas gives accurate timelines. Been happening for years.

I'm sorry but I can't sign off on J-Train becoming Smith's official nickname.

We will have to think of something else. It'll be okay though.

To be honest, I'm only a fan of nicknames when a guy's team mates or coaches give it to him. When he earns it. Not when fans think up something catchy and then try to get everyone else to call him that.

Lol, my gosh you're a hypocrite; the other thread shows you initiated the insults. You're just fortunate a mod has taken you on as his pet.

The picture appears old. Please spin your theory as to why it is not.

According to google data of the image, the first instance of this image appearing online was within the last day.

Did the same thing. Could easily be an older just now used. You've got Cowboys staff in the back and a partially constructed building that's tough to explain.

He posted the pic below on March 28 a few weeks ago. Doesn't mean he's in training camp.

People want to see it. There has been a lot of hype without production so it should be expected.
