I'd say improving from a 55 percent completion percentage to 60 percent from 2006 to 2007 shows an upward trend in that category

Is he Dan Marino or Troy Aikman accurate yet? Na. But I think he'll get to the point where he'll be effective. Completing 60 percent of his passes with the mess that last year's offense was gives me some hope right there

But yes, his career has been very average at this point, with some good games, and some awful decisions
Well see what the kid does for this year. He plays in a very defensively gifted division this year. Be tough for him.

Exactly. I don't ever expect him to be much better then Brad Johnson during his best seasons (probably in the 25-30 TD range will be the high point in a season, 60-62 percent, 3500 yards) but I feel he can be effective and get the job done

Having extra targets, and hopefully a healthy o-line (knock on wood) would do wonders for his game

Who knows, he could be a Drew Brees, suddenly the light turns on. Or, as this board hopes and prays, a Quincey Carter without the drugs ;)

And as of now, you ONLY have a number 1 WR, with a bunch of number 4s ;)

Better than just a bunch of number 4's

Funny thing is Crayton (who was our number 3 receiver till injury, number 4 if you count Witten) had only 11 catches and 111 less yards than your number one receiver.

if that :eek::

but Crayton is a solid WR, we just need someone who can stretch Ds, doesn't even have to be a starter

I'd say we got a 1.5, a 2.5, and possibly two 3's, with Thrash and Mix being special teamers

Moss' biggest issues in '06 and '07 have been health, but he has shown he can put up big numbers, and big numbers in Texas stadium

Thrash is in no way a number three. I remember watching him in PHilly

I'm comfortable with ARE as a two. Obviously I hope that one of the rookies can move him out of that spot (I like Kelly better), but ARE at two seems fine. I agree that Moss hasn't proven that he is still a #1.

I think he meant Kelly and Thomas as the threes.

Thrash is a special teams guy. I am hoping either Kelly or Thomas can be a number 3 this year. I am thinking Kelly has a good chance to be that guy, seeing how he has caught everything this week

How can you say that when our number 4 receiver Crayton had only 11 catches and 111 yards less than your "number 1"

:D

He played in one more game than Moss ...... but started one less game than Moss.

Next excuse?

Did Moss play with a dislocated finger so bad that it tore the skin last year?

Moss had no hamstrings, and according to CZ, no QB

Next line of reasoning....

And seriously, these stats aren't even close. In particular when Moss played your secondary and Crayton played ours. Crayton only had one game over 100 yards, against the woeful Rams, and only one other game over 70 yards

My favorite stats are the head to head matchups:
Crayton combined for 4 catches, and 24 yards :lmao:

While moss had 17 catches, 2 TDs and 236 yards

Sorry dude, I'll take my number 1.5 over your number 4 any day
