Jaylon Smith weekly thread?

There are usually at least two threads by now. What's going on guys??? Is this good or bad??? (LOL)

Seriously ........something I think we all can agree about his game Sunday. He played hard....

BTW: something that's gotten lost in all his criticism is his durability.
smith sucks a rookie can play just as good as he did yesterday and be paid alot less.

Honest question........how do you/fans reconcile TWO different defensive coordinators who have seen him as a legit starter vs many fans who believe he's not even good enough "to play" let alone start. A huge gap in fans' reality or evaluation and NFL defensive coor.
It's called the Jerrah rule.

Bob Sturm still does his splash play tracking and despite Smith having 950 or so plays ie more than anyone else by far he still towards the bottom in terms of splash plays

Jaylon is 4th on the team out of 26 players listed with 15 splash plays. The list goes DLaw, Aldon Smith, Diggs and then Jaylon. Pretty hard to call that "the bottom of the list".

Must've been splash plays per plays then. I'll look again.

I remember getting jumped on on here for saying Smith wasn't a smart player and how it was a mistake to have him being the QB of the defense. He just doesn't have very high football IQ. Scouts were obsessed with his sideline to sideline speed and ignored the lack of intelligence.
