Jaylon Smith will not be put on IR this season; Moore backup

"Dez Bryants dropped pass vs Philadelphia "

Jerry Jones

Hahahahahaha this dude is losing it

So they are going to milk everybody's hope that JSmith plays again for all it's worth. And Dak is officially third string at best.

Two top priorities were find a backup QB and fix the pass rush.

We may have done neither this offseason. LOL.

So frustrating...

Last offseason season we didn't value RB's but we valued DL.

This offseason we value RB's and we'll throw some mid draft picks at DL. ( I do like those picks btw)

I hope they don't take a chance and rush him into the roster.
Then onto the field.

He said there is no timeline on when he plays. He will probably be PUP'd but there will be no IR.
Does Jerry even believe what comes out of his mouth...:lmao:

He was being "trite." he likes that word.

He said the defense should be reasonably better with Carr, Claiborne, O-Scan and the rookie CB.

Please keep them off the field Zeke.

I thought I read that he didn't need to go on IR because he will be on a different list that allows him to come back anytime?

I would fully expect Moore to enter camp as the #2 it is on Dak to show he is the better option. They will go through camp and pre-season and the play off the field will determine the pecking order at QB.

If Romo is out for a significant amount of time I kinda like having a awful QB like Moore or a Rookie who has never taken snaps under center like Prescott so we can lose and get the high pick.

It's just awful if you need them to step up during a game or for 1 or 2 weeks.

I don't believe in Moore in this offense. He'd probably be ok with a real offensive system but not something as bad as ours.

Why are people upset about Moore being named the backup? I want Dak to have every opportunity to succeed in this league and the best thing for him is to sit on the bench and learn.

Because Moore can't make a play and our offensive scheme requires that the QB position makes plays outside of the system.

If Romo gets injured during a game and we need to protect a lead i'd go with Moore.

If we start a game without Romo i'd go with Prescott just because he can buy time and extend plays.

I think Prescott wins the 2nd string on athleticism alone. He's raw and mobile but if they can teach him the system, (hand off to EE and protect the ball) he has a leg up on Moore already.
