Jerry just announced it on the Radio.

They will not IR him in hopes that he could play this year.

He also confirmed that Kellen Moore is the backup.....

Kinda disappointing since that was supposedly our top priority after the season.

Jerry forgot one word when talking about Smith.....Yet.

He forgot two words when talking about Moore....for now.

Two top priorities were find a backup QB and fix the pass rush.

We may have done neither this offseason. LOL.

Geez... So negative and how do you know? You may not like what they have done but, they do. They (offensive coaches)
must like Moore and think he can do as well as anyone we trotted out there last year. I think we happen to have done
pretty well on our DL this year. This Rodney Coe fellow intrigues me. Broaddus had a great write-up on him.

I'll tell ya, after Romo went down the second time, the only QB that made this offense look like it was an NFL offense was Moore... And that was with the Cowboys playing out the string and no Bryant.

I think the kid can do fine as the back up.

For those wondering if Jaylon would be present at the Rookie camp, I assume this means yes ;)

Come on down, Jaylon... The TO hyper-baric chamber is waiting on you... You can emerge sometime in October.

Supposedly, the knee itself is perfectly sound, and nerves heal well in young people unless they are crushed or lacerated, which his isn't.

I feel very confident he'll be a big time player for Dallas one day. But next year? Seems like a small chance.

Like they did with Romo last year. Lost a little faith in our med staff after that.

The decision with Romo last year made perfect sense:

Option A: Rest Romo a few more weeks - The Cowboys are eliminated from the playoffs. Romo is healthy for 2016.
Option B: Bring back Romo, hope he doesn't take any bad hits or land on that shoulder for a couple weeks and that the team can win some games. Chance to get back in the playoff race. Chance Romo's shoulder doesn't hold up. Romo is healthy for 2016.

One option leaves no hope. One offered some. They chose the latter. In either case, Romo is healthy for 2016.
