In an outdoor stadium, you can see the clouds coming across the sky, but that's not really a big thing. What is a big thing, I think, is that the glare through the glass is probably a lot worse than just having the sun shine through open air, especially since your eyes would adjust more to the brightness outdoors, than they do inside the stadium, which magnifies the effect, like stepping outside on a sunny day, from a mall or something.Sure, but that's about the same as having a gust of wind or whatever other elements.
On a whole it's football, and the weather is a factor. While you can't predict when a break in the clouds is coming I'd argue the vast majority of the time it's obvious when adjustments should be made.
To be clear, our coaches have never taken it into consideration, so I am all for using the curtains. I'm just disappointed we haven't found a way to use our home field to our advantage.
Jerry could get an even more beautiful effect with sheerer curtains that let some light through, but no glare.
