This is poor defensive line class and I wouldn't reach for one in the 1st round. Trading back is fine, but if Pryor is on the board at #16, I'm taking him.

Better coverage in the secondary = more time for the pass rush to reach the QB

We already have close to $100 million tied up in corners. Last I checked, that hasn't helped our pass defense.

They need a upgrade at safety. Was disappointed when I watched this interview.. Safety should absolutely be in play in round 1

Not sure about round 1 but agree that we shouldn't be of the mindset that we are set at that position.

Too much already invested in the secondary. We need pass rushers. Adding Pryor or Clinton dix is a wasted pick if the opposing qb has 10 seconds in the pocket on every snap.

I agree. There is no Earl Thomas in this draft. And there is still hope for Matt Johnson. I like getting a safety at some point, but 1st round is a lot to spend on a guy with question marks.

In his video on DC .com he said he was happy with where we were at Safety TE, CB and WR. Citing injury issues mentioned by Jerry I think C.J. Mosley is a HUGE possibility in round 1 because he said the draft was deep on both interiors and not as much at LB.

We have made investments there already and we need to start investing in the DL instead of secondary.

It's not like we're close to being an elite team either so we might as well get another look at the young guys next to Church.

He is Keith Davis without the bullet magnet.

Too early to label Wilcox terrible. I think Heath should be playing special teams or something. Biggest deal I have is why Wilcox did not get his job back. He was promising in the first Eagles game, got hurt prior to Detroit and did not do much the rest of the way.

That's a load of crap and you know it. Church is a very fine safety and will only improve. He was a sure tackler and created a bunch of TO. The hate he gets is unwarranted. Sometimes I wonder if people really understand football. He had to over compensate for the garbage he was playing with.

I agree he should've played over heath. What I had a problem with was them releasing allen!

We have to be looking at S. There's no way you can look at the S play we got last year and not consider a talented player at that position. I'm going to go ahead and consider this misdirection until proven otherwise.

That said, we should be looking at LB and, obviously, DL, too. We're going to get some good defensive players the first two rounds, no matter how the draft falls.

I would argue that Hightower has turned out pretty good in New England, and Upshaw is pretty good in Baltimore.

If you are argue that, then I have no idea what you are basing it off of.

Hightower had to fight his way off the bench last year even with the Patriot injuries on defense. Upshaw is not even a full time starter either and cannot control his weight.

Carter is on his final year, Holloman is the starter on the other side. If they draft a LB in the 1st, he will be a starter.
