We all need to boycott this team. Don't go to a single game. Let it just be full of the opposing teams fans. Maybe he'll learn then. This is disgusting. You can hear the evil in his voice.

Imagine he notices no fans at the stadium and he continues to say stuff like this. His ego is now bigger than his net worth.

You would think being a multi.billionaire would make one turn to more result oriented mindedness like Elon Musk but not this team's owner. There's no limit to his ego. He's too blind to see how much his legacy as a football man gets more below mediocre every year. Been living on past legacy far too long. If he really cared he would've gotten out of the way (be a normal owner) and taken nepo-goober with him.

Jerry most definitely gets it .. and a lot of the media gets it .. but a lot of Cowboys fans don't get it.

Jerry's priority is popularity because popularity generates revenue and increase valuations.

Jerry wants to win, but only as a byproduct, not as the priority.
Jerry wants to win as long as he is seen as the one getting all the credit.

That is why he will never hire Belicheck or Vrabel or any of these other fantasy coaches. If one of them came in here and won a SB in a matter of 2 or 3 years, who do you think would be getting all the credit?

Belicheck or Jerry?

Why wouldn't McCarthy get credit though? He already won a Super Bowl before.

I think it's more about being a yes man, and not having a coach who has a lot of say in trades and drafts.

This is exactly why I'm thinking about turning in my card after 50 years and letting this team go.
He gives inepto a massive extension you can bet you won't be the only one.
30 years ya it's gotten to the point of saying goodbye to this circus act and its # 1 Clown.

I do believe Jerry has winning football desire coursing through his veins to date. He was an offensive lineman and co-captain for the Arkansas Razorbacks during championship seasons in the 60's. Being top rung business successful is equally important to him but it is not just about making money. Status is another form of income to him. With the exception of McClay the executive team consisting of Jerry and Stephen lacks long term competitive team development vision and doesn't do well with coaching disrupters in house. They want conformists as in the corporate world. There is some give and take with Jerry and Stephen but not enough to make necessary wholesale changes. Also Jerry and Stephen are not revenue dependent on the Cowboys franchise alone. They have other major business interests including in oil production and spinoff industries. It makes you wonder how much focus and time is taken away from football.
