What he did was cringe worthy, and I stated as much.
All I said today was what he said PERTAINING to today, is he is correct. Keep people talking about you.
Who did I call a hater...I asked if the haters are logical. Which in this case is true, he makes a correct statement as a business person, but this draws the ire of the fans.

Man, is it really that hard for you to grasp ? Jerry makes it clear that he is satisfied getting the attention and making the money. And that pisses off a lot of loyal fans that think, as both GM and Owner, he should also be about football and winning.

Jerry also believes 1+1=3.

He has full blown dementia if he believes a GM's job is to keep his team at the top of a news cycle instead of competing for championships.

I actually think Jerry does care about winning, he just doesn't know how (clearly). Imagine how much his ego would be getting fed if he won a championship? I'm sure he wants that, but again, he and his son have no idea how to go about it. Sucks, we literally are all waiting for Lady Luck to bring us a trophy before our GM can.

I guess that was Jerry, the owner.
Where was Jerry, the General Manager, or is there such a person?

I think it is hard for you to grasp and others. He can’t make a statement like that AND care about winning also?
It is only logical. But we have many illogical fans.

Yea, not setting too high of a bar in North Texas when it comes to winning football games.

If Jerry was just a man on the street…no money…no power…no name recognition…and he said what he says at his press conferences, most people would think he’s just a crazy old man.

He’s truly a great businessman and probably the best salesman I’ve ever seen. He could sell sand in the desert. But when it comes to building a football organization to win playoff games he consistently falls short. And that’s not my opinion. The last quarter century of results speaks for itself.

Yup, Jerry does care about winning. He just cares about the money more. I watched Hard Knocks tonight and a coach said the NFL was a “Show Me” league, and he is right. You and Jerry just have words. The rest of us have 26 years of Jerry showing us. If Jerry cared about winning as much as the money he would have fired his GM after 26 years of failure and hired a real football GM. But he values winning so much he never did and never will. You’re the illogical one if you think Jerry seriously values winning in the face of the evidence.
