You guys let what an 81 year old man says get you in your emotions and feels….lol. He said years ago “jimmy will he in the ROH”….still waiting.

Countless times over the year he says one thing and does another

Why in the world did we trade a pick for Eric Scott? Eric Frickin' Scott. Is he even still on the team?
He is on the 53 man roster but has mostly been inactive. He's still a rookie and playing CB in the NFL is not easy so I will give him a pass for now. Also, the draft pick compensation really wasn't that bad. We basically got pick # 178 (1st pick in 6th round) in 2023 for pick #153 - 166 in 2024. Pick in 2024 is not determined yet because we don't know where we will be drafting in the 5th round. I am assuming we make the playoffs and the pick is between 153 and 166.

Not a Jerry or Stephen advocate but they know more about football than 80% of the people here
Laugh of the year, you can’t make stuff up like this, only on CZ. Jerry as a GM would be out of the league 25 years ago and Stevie would never have gotten hired, owning a team doesn’t mean football knowledge and the last 27 seasons shows the lack of football knowledge.

Trading picks does not help us get better at having a big time QB or play calling. I am fine with riding our roster out, Jerry just does not have any tact in communication. Those of us who do not believe in the current QB situation (whether we are right or wrong), or coaching staff, can not get hypocritical and be mad we wont give away the resources we need to improve some of the positions we currently are not believers in.

How does either of these guys having multiple radio shows per week advance the football interests of the Dallas Cowboys? That's the crux of this. I couldn't care less what they "know". What they "know" has not resulted in deep playoff runs in nearly 30 years.

Jerry Jones to @1053thefan on if he feels Cowboys in NFC’s “upper echelon conversation”: “We belong in the upper echelons. I’m not going to say we belong on the field with San Fran, and we haven’t played Philly. ..So, I don’t want to go that far. But we’re in the upper echelon.”

So why no major moves??? ALWAYS thinking maybe they'll "luck into" something.

It doesn’t advance the football interests of the cowboys and it doesn’t hurt it either…it’s literally nothing and you guys react to it like it means anything. You guys give it substance. Lol. The reactions to stuff like this from fans is 100% why jerry does radio shows.

There’s been numerous things over the years jerry has said, Stephen has said and then either didn’t happen or the opposite happened. The cowboys have a very talented team this year which is heavily built through the draft and players the organization has picked.

fans are upset about a quote from Jerry not being proactive in a deal that could get them over the hump without even acknowledging the idea that the reason they are close or in the running this year is because of the team the organization has built….same guys people here call idiots- talk about talking out of both sides of your mouth

Jerry doesn't care about winning. So this shouldn't surprise anyone.

He even admits his team isn't on the same level as Philthy or SF yet still won't lift a finger to improve the roster. F this dude....
I really don't understand what the front office's MO is because it clearly is not winning a championship.

SF and Philly were already better before the Eagles went out and got their All-Pro safety, and Jerry is content to roll with what we've got, which clearly will probably not be enough to get the job done.

It appears they've prioritized long term competitiveness over winning now, which I'm not convinced even has to be an either or choice in the first place.

NOT TO DEFEND HIM....because I NEVER would. But, I just thought about something....what if he finally realizes that its a waste of money and picks....right now....knowing that Dak will ultimately fail.
