I don't know the nuances of the case behind the scenes ........ and I am pretty sure Jerry does not either ....... but I will say this...... if he beat a woman, it does not matter to me how well he plays football or if he is a Dallas Cowboy ....... and If I was innocent of such charges I would not have taken punishment lying down.

That Rhoda poster or whatever will be here soon to set you all straight. He knows the ins and outs of this case like no other and is considered an expert. I'm pretty sure he personally worked on the case as an employee of the North Carolina court system. Maybe. But whatever, he is absolutely sure Hardy is guilty but he may not actually tell you why or offer evidence supporting that position.

rubbish... haters gonna hate

I agree... you don't know the nuances of the case. Do yourself a favor and get familiar with the facts of the case, it really is quite interesting. IMO, the legal system did the right thing in the end and then his employer trying to do the politically correct thing did this man wrong with a 10 game suspension mitigated to four. It's all water under the bridge now, and Hardy is living a blessed life. The next step is to sign him long term. Get-r-done, Jerrah.

Hardy's twitter and IG lead me to believe he's kind of a crazy dude, but that doesn't make him guilty of this.

Who knows? It's over now. I hope he stays here and stays out of trouble.

Pretty sure if they were an employee of the court they wouldn't be allowed to divulge any information like this.

This is the internet.

Come to think of it, I was there with Greg that night. We just smoked some Blue Dream and this chick came in screaming and we ran. You don't believe me?! Why?!

There is a big difference between the guy who just goes off and beats his girl and the guy who has a gold digging coked up ex show up and start tearing up his place and getting physical with him, calls 911 himself, and by the end of it she has a few bumps and bruises. One should be in jail and the other should be at work on Monday morning with a crazy story to tell.

He didn't. He fought it in a court of law.

Or maybe Jerry and Co. are thinking about appealing the last two games of the suspension trying to boost the roster after the rash of injuries in the first couple of games. Just wants a full deck.

His appeal window has come and gone.

Jerry is right. I hope he signs Greg long term.

JJ coding to Hardy. I've got your back, now I'm willing to reach to my backpocket and open that wallet up for a long term deal with an owner/team that believes in you.

incidents like this one that happen every day, and are settled without police or legal intervention. When that happens " many unprovables" are use by either side to get even with the other party. To me that could be what happened here, but with the Ray Rice situation the league went heavy hammer to protect
its image. I think Hardy is happy to be with Dallas, and in the end figured he wasn't going to bring the media circus to a team where he could be long term comfortable.

I thought Greg Hardy wanted to put this behind him, and now Jerry is spouting off?
If Hardy were innocent, then he should have challenged the league's suspension.
If he wanted to put this behind him, then Jerry should have refused an interview and let the issue die.

As always, my only desire is seeing all photographs taken of the alleged victim and attacker for the case. The pictures are the only real hard evidence collected in the case in my opinion. I have personally witnessed qualified medical practitioners offer differing opinions about injuries incurred by the same patient. Similarly, the judge could have accurately assessed whether the injuries were inflicted or self-inflicted. Perhaps she could not. I am not a medical practitioner but it would greatly satisfy my curiosity if I could review those photographs and judge them myself. That wish will never come true (unless TMZ actually did something meaningful for once lol) but it's my desire nonetheless.

If you were innocent would you not fight the suspension?

There are a lot of factors to weigh. Public relations is important and how it affects the marketing of a player and team are two. It's possible bringing it all up again would do more harm than good. With the witness unavailable it's not very likely he could totally prove his innocence. If he was. Furthermore, it wouldn't change anyone's minds. He's been convicted in the court of public opinion and those so sure won't be swayed.

I'm sure experts in these areas have advised him not to pursue it further. Now whether he did it or not. I don't know. I have heard about the girl and her character. That casts some doubt. The prosecuted could've continued with the case without her and elected not to. I also heard the 911 call and that casts much more doubt.

I am not saying he is guilty ........ I am just saying there is doubt on both sides ...... and if he beat up a woman (whether some on here thinks she deserved it or not) he was in the wrong ....... him and all his "posse" have smart phones ...... they should have recorded the whole thing ....... they did not
