I am not saying he is guilty ........ I am just saying there is doubt on both sides ...... and if he beat up a woman (whether some on here thinks she deserved it or not) he was in the wrong ....... him and all his "posse" have smart phones ...... they should have recorded the whole thing ....... they did not

Yes. There is doubt on both sides.

Innocent until proven guilty is the mantra of the legal system we live in.

And this is another thing

Men and Woman ....... use your smart phones ....... record abuse of any kind ...... whether from spouses, boyfriend/girlfriend, your children, the police , anyone ..... it could save you from becoming the bad guy in a situation.

As always, my only desire is seeing all photographs taken of the alleged victim and attacker for the case. The pictures are the only real hard evidence collected in the case in my opinion. I have personally witnessed qualified medical practitioners offer differing opinions about injuries incurred by the same patient. Similarly, the judge could have accurately assessed whether the injuries were inflicted or self-inflicted. Perhaps she could not. I am not a medical practitioner but it would greatly satisfy my curiosity if I could review those photographs and judge them myself. That wish will never come true (unless TMZ actually did something meaningful for once lol) but it's my desire nonetheless.

The prosecutor saw the pictures and had them analyzed by a medical practitioner and they did not bring the case to a jury trial. Defense witness notwithstanding, he still could have brought him to trial, but chose not too.

Hardy went from 10 games to 4, I think he figures why fight city hall twice.

You must have loads of Cowboyszone posts recorded on your phone for as much as you get abused on here.

He had witnesses that were neighbors that all backed his side of the story.

And yet no one recorded anything ...... in this day and age when we have access to high definition cameras and videos in our pockets at all times ........ nobody recorded the crazy people tearing up the house.

I don't care. Let the last be the past. In three weeks, can he help us win? That's all I care about!!!!
Everyone should care.

The fact that athletes are considered guilty until proven innocent is pretty daming tell about our society. The fact that Hardy probably lost millions b/c the public is not only OK with, but endorses the NFL having greater legal authority than our judicial system should piss people off to no end.

Can you imagine if, hypothetically, you met some girl at a bar, got her number, went on a date, never called back and you never even kissed her but, a week later, she gets a black eye and blames you. As a result, the company you work for fires you and other companies refuse to hire you b/c of your red flag. You'd be up in arms, or at least I would.

That's the precedent that has been set with Hardy, Patrick Kane, and even Jameis, to some extent, amongst others, is dangerous and absurd.

And neither do you ..... except what you read online.

Any lawyer can tell you that's not all the facts of a case.

It doesn't take a lawyer to see Hardy was railroaded into a raw deal and then set free by the truth. I obviously know more than you, so stop being petulant and get to know the case so we stand on the same footing.

And the girl deserved it too because she was a gold digger ...... right?

I am sorry I did not know you were an expert on the case and was there that night....... I will stop my "petulants" in your direction by claiming nobody knows the truth.

He was never charged for beating up a woman. They were misdemeanor charges that police use to separate couples when called in on domestic disturbances. The charges were "putting hands on a woman" and "communicating threats". Not assault and battery which is a felony.

Beating up a woman is wrong? Yeah, and... ? Is that the genius contribution you have on this topic? Most folks have a fairly good idea of what's right and what's wrong. You are preaching to a choir that not only knows this tune, we have the sheet music memorized. Step off your soapbox, and spare us your self described unfamiliarity with this matter.

Carolina Panther Greg Hardy was found guilty Tuesday night of assaulting his former girlfriend and threatening to kill her.

Attorneys for the 25-year-old Pro Bowl defensive end announced an immediate appeal. That means Hardy will have a second day in court, this time before a jury and likely after the NFL team’s upcoming season.

That's not true, there were witnesses and their account of events did not convince a jury of Hardy's peers to convict him. In fact, the legal system set him free before it even got that far.

Hardy did reach for his phone. He called 911 and asked the police to take the girl away because she was going nuts. You can google it and find recordings of the call online, he was very calm and taking for the police to come. That's completely inconsistent with a violent guy in the middle of beating a woman.

Also when the police arrived, the girl tried to leave without talking. The only reason she talked to police was because the officer said "Don't you want to hear what they are saying about you?" Then - and only then - did she come up with the story he had abused her. And she had attacked Hardy three days prior where a security guard had to pull her away from kicking Hardy's car.

If you read even the news reports that are online (and not take the lazy approach these reporters do of regurgitating one paragraph from the initial articles) you will see that there is literally no evidence whatsoever that Hardy committed DV. Only the accusation of Holder, who completely contradicted herself between her police report and her testimony at the initial hearing. And BTW, at the initial hearing she testified under oath that she was on Coke at the time of the incident.

In his appeal trial ........ when the golddigger did not show up as a witness. At first he was found guilty.

And he should have recorded it ........ then he would not have been found guilty in his first trial.
