Jerry, on ESPN, says Ware may not be back next season

Oh boohoo poor ware.

NE will not take him unless he takes a huge pay cut. They are cheap for one, and not stupid.

He will get picked up, but only by a desperate team if he wants that type of money, and that desperate team will most likely be trash
Just watch.some of you people are going to be shocked when NEor GB or some playoff team pick him up. and he will have an outstanding year, and help that team maybe get back to a Super Bowl.while the great Romo leads us to another 8 and 8, or 6 and 10 season. it's going to be epic.

Hey I'm with you we may not win much with Romo.

Hes sitting back eating up cap space, when he's an above average QB, getting paid like an all pro.

Same with Ware, average to below average DE getting paid like hes all pro eating up cap space. One has to go, Ware has sucked worse.

Did you watch him last year trying to defend against the option read vs Washington? Comical. I swear I saw Keith Davis out there wearing number 94.

It hurts I know bro, but he sucks. It's ok

It's bad when even half of his cap number is still too much. Geez who is our GM?

Wonder what Ware is willing to take? Perhaps heavy incentives.

I thought you were a Romo guy?

We need to trade him to a 3-4 team. Maybe the Pats will take him.

They aren't stupid, and don't take on big contracts from aging guys who are in fast decline. That's what sets them apart from teams like us.

Ware was awful last year. It had nothing to do with scheme. He couldn't beat TEs.

Don't want to read all 7 pages of the thread, so I apologize if I sound like a redundant idiot, but I think Ware simply has to go if he doesn't agree to a serious pay cut. Furthermore, I will applaud Jerry for going against his M.O. and cutting the guy for the betterment of the team and not keeping him for sentimental reasons.

Yeah, I understand what you are saying, however, "if" is only relevant in fictional story books. This team has gotten in trouble before for counting (hoping) for the positive side of "if".

It was disturbing at times. He even lacked that one monster game where he would abuse a bad offensive tackle. You have to hope it was the injuries.

Susy Kolber asked him directly about Ware and Jerry made the analogy of getting off his plane when he first bought the team and driving around in a five year old Ford Bronco. Said he couldn't have the plane if he wasn't driving the Bronco because you can't have it all.
I cannot stand his little folksy analogies.

The one only interesting thing Jones said to me was how he exaggerated how available Ware has been.

Saying "he hasn't been on the field much in the last two years" is inaccurate and could be offensive in a way.

Unusual tough talk even if it was a completely false statement.

Unfortunately cutting Ware does nothing for the team this year so I don't see Jerry doing it. June 1st cut is the only option and that means we can't use whatever $ saved from cutting him on FA's. Sounds a lot like Jerry is just using a negotiation tactic through the media to get to Ware.

I can't stand a lot of things about the man. ;) His folksy analogies have become tiresome, though, especially when I see him buying coffee at La Madeleine's in his fur coat and $500.00 Ferragamo shoes.

I don't think he will be cut -- he will take the pay cut. Like it or not, Ware has never acted like a business-first, jerk, me-type player. His agent may advise him to do one thing but I think he will do what is best for his family and stay put in Big D at a lesser salary. If he does tell Jerry to shove it, then he has bigger chimichangas than I thought.

Jerry mentioned an old bronco, talked about making stew and the ingrediants needed, no mention of special sauce. The Jones' need to eat before they give interviews and spout off food analogies.

In any case, Jerruh just sent Ware a message with today's interview. Take a pay cut or exit stage left.

Is DeMarcus Ware... the old bronco? and Dez the plane? lol
