Call me a "glass half full" guy (okay, even I laughed at that), but one good thing Jerry has done this off season is to absolutely DEMOLISH the "Will McClay is the real GM" talking point. Anyone else notice how we haven't heard anyone try to float that b.s. in a while now?

I clicked on a couple of the follow up vids. Think it was Hanging with the Boys they were saying the fan's energy level & attendance at Oxnard was off compared to previous training camps.
Do you have a link?

Jerry has once again gone on record to tell this fan base that he doesnt care about winning.

His comments yesterday regarding this team being "eons ahead of everyone else" had nothing to do with wins or playoff wins. It had to do with season ticket sales, revenue, tv ratings etc.

What more does this fan base need to see from the OWNER of the team to get them to realize that its not going to get better? Why are there still people defending Jerry and this front office when he is literally TELLING us he doesnt care about wins as long as the team is relevant and making money?

I am honestly at a loss as to how anyone can look fans in the eyes and defend this guy anymore.

Jerry is incapable of giving concise answers anymore. That's because he is full of it, and he knows it. Obfuscation is his goal these days.

We have to stop supporting the the Cowboys. No more buying merchandise, supporting advertisers, and kissing Jerry’s booty when he is at a public event like he is a rock star. The Joneses only see green. So that is how you get them.

Be an Eagles fan like me.

This has been his mindset since the mid 90's. The fan base has sadly been paying for those three early championships ever since. If Jerry was serious about winning he and neppo baby would distance themselves from football ops, and people whose jobs depended on results would be put in.

When Jerry supporters come on this forum, it's not for the best. They’re people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing gatekeeping. They’re bringing arguments against posters and not posts. They’re trolling. And some, I assume, are good people.

From the tweet:

Jones' fan frustration checklist:

  1. Not beating Green Bay
  2. Not advancing in the playoffs
  3. Team being #2 in the NFC for nothing
  4. No excuse for injuries
  5. Losing despite having an ‘MVP’ type quarterback
At no time does he stop-and-state fans are frustrated with HIM too.
My successful team preparation for this season include at minimum:

Season wins 10-12

As well as quality wins going into the playoffs at least 2 wins from these games.

wk 8 SF
wk 10 Eagles
wk 16 TB
wk 17 Eagles

Talk about weird…an 81 year old out of touch billionaire telling his team’s fan base how they really feel. He might as well have said, “Let them eat cake.”

He looks increasingly old, out of touch and completely surrounded by suck ups and sycophants who tell him exactly what he wants to hear.
All he's missing is the Cowboys track suit and a pair of glasses with a chain around his neck.

How did he go so fast from team performance to ticket sales? That was impressive
The Eagles have mostly suffered over the last 50 years-- though that's not to say that they've struggled.

But I don't think I've ever questioned if your team prioritized winning.

Though I'm supposed to dislike the Eagles, I think I dislike Jerry more.

Don't listen to what they say. Watch what they do.
OK and what they do is nickel and dime in FA. What they do is nickel and dime on coaches as evidenced by Jerry babbling about "dead money" to coaches and how it's a big problem.

Their goal is simply to try to find a happy medium each year where they win just enough to keep the fans engaged while also saving as much cash as they can in the process.

Lowest cash spending team in the NFL.

Make it make sense.
