From the tweet:

Jones' fan frustration checklist:

  1. Not beating Green Bay
  2. Not advancing in the playoffs
  3. Team being #2 in the NFC for nothing
  4. No excuse for injuries
  5. Losing despite having an ‘MVP’ type quarterback
At no time does he stop-and-state fans are frustrated with HIM too.

Yup, this isn't something new. Hey Jerry, you said you "read" the comments from us fans during your press conference the other day? We want results. We want you to do your job as GM.

Much of what he said is what finally broke me after all this time.

I fully understand that being good is not enough to win. You must catch many breaks along the way as well.

Last year they were basically handed the two seed unexpectedly, and Diggs aside, were about as healthy as you could ask for…and they still blew it.

I don’t mean ‘not winning a championship’ type of blew it….I mean setting yet another futility record. First 2/7 loser after blowing two one seeds prior.

I’m about sure there’s some sort of curse attached to this team. Not sure who may be responsible.
Me neither......it's almost.....shocking to say....as if there's an 80 something year old who doesn't understand the problem. I wonder who it could be.

CowboysZone ULTIMATE Fan
I clicked on a couple of the follow up vids. Think it was Hanging with the Boys they were saying the fan's energy level & attendance at Oxnard was off compared to previous training camps.

There's a lot of adjectives that describe the feelings of Cowboys fans be it apathy frustration or just plain disgust none of them are good.

My beloved team has gone from one of the most pure things in sports led by the greatest of men who were military trained and fought for our country.
Giving me afternoons in the '70s of excitement knowing full well that Captain America would prevail and to get us to the super bowl.
Now my team is led by a bunch of money hungry individuals mentored by the chief capitalist Jerry Jones who cares not about the sport for winning a super bowl just how much revenue he's bringing in.
He has the morals of an alley cat and has poisoned the well that is my team and taught them that all that is important is the money.

It's not like we as fans can vote him out every 4 years we are just stuck with him and his offspring who have totally changed what this sport used to be about.

All we really have left from the real Dallas Cowboys is the uniform.

Well, since Jerry just reiterated that ticket sales are his SB, then I think we as Cowboys fans should join him in embracing it. When other fans talk out their championships and Super Bowl wins we need to laugh at their pitiful accomplishments and point out the Forbes rankings.

Since winning, or even competing for SBs just isn't all that when you are a Jerry Jones Cowboys fan, we might as well lean in on the money lists.

They actually extended/broke many futility records with that GB loss. Others include extending our own NFL record streak of playoff appearances without making a conference title game to 13, and breaking the record for consecutive 12+ win seasons without making it to a conference title game. Dake also took the record for worst starting record for a playoff QB in NFL history.

The Cowboys own the playoff futility record books.

Jerry's trying on a hat of humility -- maybe it's a sign that better days are on the way??
Naw, it couldn't be that. Who's frustrated?! Not me!

Heck, I'm over 80 & I never get confused . . .

We have a good QB and a good roster. Not great at either. IMO in order to win a SB, you have to be great or really good at one, and good at the other. A lot of playoff teams are just good at both. You have to stand out at one or both to win a SB.
