Me either.. Unless... He is desperate to win a Superbowl and goes for Sean Payton.

Sean Payton to Dallas... Can you imagine how great that would be. We might win a Superbowl in the Romo era with that move.
Its too good to be true.

Did your account get hacked?

Im going to do the unthinkable and like a FuzzyLumpkins post.

I don't think Garrett is perfect. I think there are obviously better coaches than him starting with Big Bill up at the top. Payton is one of those guys and he builds his oline like we do and has a history of developing QBs. We need to make a major move at QB soon. I don't trust Garrett to improve and otherwise develop a QB. I also think he is better at training receivers and coordinating pass protection.

I'm always looking to get better. Now if you start telling me I have to give up my first or the RB I need in the 2nd forget about it. We have so many holes I think the 3rd is just as important.

I think you guys completely overvalue HC if you go over that.

I just spoke of a narrative describing how things are around this place. I'm talking about common behaviors. If something doesn't apply to you then so be it. My intention here is not to single anyone out; I am no saint. Everything that I have described has gone on in the consolidated rage threads like this one.

This would be Garrett's first losing record. I notice a glaring omission of the 6-3 and 12-4 bookends to Garrett's actual finished seasons. From a totals standpoint Garrett has a winning record overall and this season is not over. If we win next week your narrative becomes ridiculous. You have anything else other than you feel the same way about Kubiak?

First losing record? LOL Wow, what an accomplishment. 8-8 8-8 8-8................yah, but he won half his games yippeeeee!!!!

If you would be tickled pink over hiring a coach like Payton, then there is no possible way you can support the hapless Garrett. You do realize that you have to FIRE Garrett before you can hire someone else correct?

Say what you want about Jerry only caring about ratings and publicity but the man knows football. Now whether he's willing to put his emotions and ego aside and make the necessary changes to improve our football team is a different story. But he does know bad coaching/management when he sees it so hopefully he acts on the atrocious job Garrett and company have done this season. That is, if we don't get in the playoffs... which I think we still can.

That's cute, but we can't account for the magic air that you pulled the 99.5% out of. I can't find a win probability calculator that will give me win probability pre-kickoff.

Even if it is accurate, I don't expect a coach to be able to differentiate between the two in his head. 50% and 99%? Sure I expect you to be able to instinctively feel that one out. I don't have a problem with a coach basing 95% vs 99% on what he feels about the intangibles of the game.

Math is cute.

And most people can differentiate between "a chance" and "virtually no probablistic chance" No magic air. But i enjoy to watch people flail at calculated facts.

Entire insurance and re-insurance industries are built on tails like this. no defect production/six sigma processes use this as a cornerstone.

I don't know what to make of the comments.

Jerry should hire Kenny Rogers so Jerry will no "when to hold 'em.....when to fold 'em". Maybe Jerry starts a fire under old JG and SL.

Based on again, your pulled out of magic 99.5% figure and a heaping helping of hindsight. But it's cute that while working the cash register at Burger King, that you consider yourself to be a math wiz. I won't interrupt the dream.

It's easy - you make dang sure McFadden knows to fall down after he gets the first. You also make dang sure he stays inbounds the play before. The Broncos had the same exact situation in that 51-48 win over us 2 years ago. They used a timeout and Peyton Manning to instruct the team to NOT score.

Garrett had 2 timeouts at his disposal. Use one or both after each play and clock wind down to emphasize what is needed. There is NO way Washington should have got that ball back with anything more than 10 seconds on the clock down 3.

It's football 101. Garrett is always invisible at times like that as if he has no clue. It happens 2-4 games per season and that's enough to kill us.

My God he has been around NFL football his whole life and he doesn't get it.

Your hate is affecting your judgement. There is no way they could have ran the clock down to :10. They started the drive with 1:26 on the clock and with Washington having 2 timeouts they could have got the ball back with about :35 left at the worst needing a field goal.

8 XP missed in 2014 out of 1230 XP..(20 yard FG) 99.34%

It so easy to tell people with no substance.

It's easier to spot a Burger King employee masquerading as someone who knows anything about football. The Cowboys could not have run the clock out and kicked a field goal.

What is Garrett's record with a halfway decent player at QB (which basically = what is his record with Romo)? Are you the same people that blamed Caldwell for the Colts collapsing when they lost Manning?

Move Garrett to the FO and grab Payton. Garrett and McClay have brought a lot of talent to this team, so I can see Garrett succeeding much more in a FO role.

Fuzzy, I have no issue with you and as far as I remember we've always gotten along and I've enjoyed the talk so I'm not sure where your taking this. My initial thread and the talk had no hidden agenda. It's news that Jerry actually spoke up and said something negative about the coaching.

As far as Garrett he won some with Wades team and had one winning season. I didn't put Kubiaks two winning seasons in the post either. I've watched football since the 70s. So when I watch other teams, players, coaches I compare. I compare how football was played over decades just like people compare Romo, Aikman, etc. So yeah I compare what I saw with Kubiaks mediocre rise and Garrett. Much mirrors it. If you want me to go through all my issues over the years regarding JG Id be willing to...from horrible time management to blowing games early in his stint to Jerry saying he had made mistakes and was a coach in training to getting stripped of duties to being conservative...but no one wants to hear rehash. The funny part is I've yet to hear you make one legit argument for the guy or why what Jerry said wasn't legit or true. You just stuck me with some false narrative that never existed

So my math is now correct its my "football wares" that the math is off...

You dont run out on first down, that was mistake #1....Just like Marion Barber for the bears a couple years ago. precedence. Everything after was changed. The clock could have been run out falling at the 1 on 2nd down. like Maurice Jones Drew when trailing by 1.

Two mistakes. Yet you want to argue that the ability to try a 54 yard FG was the best move

I've met Burger King employees with more wit and rational then this, so I wouldnt be so quick to be elitist.

Math will always be math. Happening maybe 1 time out of 200 is always >>>>>>>>>>10 times out of 200. Let me know if you set up any poker games
