The O-line... well very few O-lines in the history of the league are wow. This unit is good. Don't think its wow!

I certainly do... I think you can make a case that four of the five starters (all of them except Kyle Kosier) are worthy of Pro Bowl appearances...

Jerry always says something funny about the draft. We need another T-New cover corner with whatever we have to do to get him and then another big pocession WR. We have to go to zone coverage too much with the 3 and 4 WR sets as is this season.

Look at it this way, Guys. In past years we wouldn't sacrifice a big trade up for one big pick because we had so many holes to fill. Everyone would say that you only do that when you know all you need is that one big piece.

Well now we're in that position. We don't have many, if any, holes on this team.

Realistically thinking, say we make it to the NFC Championship and win, go to the Super Bowl. This team is pretty complete.

We can afford to take the big plunge and move up high to draft the big playmaker (McFadden) to push us over the top. In this case, it's worth it.

We don't need another RB.

JuJo and Barber are perfect for our system.

Maybe, maybe not... but one thing's certain, both of them will NOT be back in Dallas next season... Julius has one foot out the door already, just waiting to hit the free agent highway, to try to find a team that will give him 20 carries a game...

We already had ample reason to doubt your football IQ, not knowing that Julius is a free agent at the end of this season, and HIGHLY unlikely to return to the Boys, just drives your cluelessness home with emphasis...

Desean Jackson + 15 pounds will be better than the Panthers' Steve Smith after he gets a year or two in the NFL under his belt. There's nobody in college football that delivers "WOW" like DJax does. Look at his punt returns and you'll see what I'm talking about.

All things considered, I'd still prefer to see DMac with a star on his helmet, but not at the price that it will probably take to get it done.

* By the way, the thought of DMac dropping down to the Pats' pick makes my heart kind of ache inside. Who wouldn't want to go to a team with so much recent success. Just wouldn't be fair if they took him.

Everybody is talking about all the draft picks we would have to give up, but who's saying it would be draft picks that we end up giving up? Last year the rumor was Det wanted some picks along with Witten in order to make a deal and Jerry at least thought about this, but of course decided the price wasn't right.

We all know when Jerry sets his sites on a player he gets his man pretty much everytime. I could see us trading up with our 2 # 1's and possibly trading from a position of strength like linebacker or d-line where spears or carpenter may be included in a deal (both guys good bets not to start on D next year anyway)

I think we should all hoppe for New England to be ahead of the Jets seeing as they would be the most motivated to deal down (they love stockpiling picks and they're cheap). Plus the only real threats to grab Mcfadden outta the teams currently picking in the top 10 are Oakland and the Jets and you can bet the farm New England would love to keep McFadden out of New York if for nothing more than to stick it to the Jets even more.

I look for something like this to go down more and more given the surrounding circumstances and Jerry's apparent man crush on McFadden.

If anything, I see Jerry trading with Miami. The Dolphins are in dire need of youth and talent. I could see Jerry providing both, bundling young first round talent (Spears, Carpenter, even Spencer) with 1st rounders (not necessarily both 2008 firsts).

And if Jerry really wants more WOW on offense, then sign Randy Moss to play alongside Owens AND draft Run DMC.

Now that would be WOW.

No team could cover T.O., Moss, Witten and McFadden, especially one on one. Romo would destroy every offensive record in sight.

We better not give away Spencer.

Jackson is quite a bit better as a receiver.

Comes to mind when people fall in love with 'burners' on the edge known for highlight reels from college.

Peter Warrick wasn't a burner. He was pretty slow, actually.

Id say it will probably cost two number 1's, our 2nd and 3rd and a player to move from 32 to 1. Id do it because we have good depth everywhere except db. We can get by one season without many draft picks. I know many would disagree and thats fine too. McFadden is the best college player ready for the NFL.

I'd probably feel better aout a deal with Mia, but with the way they've managed their team over the years they are just so unpredictable. It would probably be the logical move for Mia to take a deal with us, but then again theydon't always do the logical thing.

I suggested New England because everybody knows they're not going to want to stay in te top 5 and they have no use for McFadden. Plus they would be motivated to keep him out of their division, given that the Jets stand a good chance of selecting him if they get the opportunity.

That being said lets hope it is Mia as we'd most likely get a better deal, given their ineptitude in the front office (although paying no. 1 money is pretty steep these days)

I'd say it would cost much, much less than that. And besides, we wouldn't have to move up from 32 to 1.

I'm starting to buy into the disposable running back theory...what with all these 4 and 5 WR sets we are seeing from teams ...I would love to see us go after a top notch corner with 1 of our 1st rounders

Just my 2 cents

Not too shabby of a list, very deep at WR/CB/RB - if McFadden is out of the question we shouldn't be too heartbroken.
